                                                                        ~~Artemis~~

Artemis didn't know what happened, which annoyed her as much as Apollo did. Percy suddenly glanced around the room before his gazed landed on her father and brother. For a second, Percy's eyes flashed a deep purple colour. His sight was still trained on the two gods, who seemed to be having a silent conversation with their eyes. Suddenly, and unexpectedly, Percy let a small smile slip and his eyes filled with gratitude, respect, and light-heartiness which I had only seen when he was with the Hunt. He looked like the weight of the world was taken from his shoulders.

Percy quickly looked away before the pair could notice, but the other gods had seen the small act and looked like Apollo's scared cows, stupid and confused. Percy meet her eyes and smiled a little wider. Artemis had to admit, with his eyes showing a little more mirth and a smile that showed his blinding teeth, he was incredibly handsome. It was long ago that she tried to pretend that she didn't like him. She had learnt to accept her feelings. She had caught herself looking at him more times then she would liked to admit. He was gorgeous, in her defence. With unique eyes that moved liked waves, sun blessed skin, a perfect smile, and not to mention his body. The hunters and her had caught Percy working out once with only some shorts. Nearly all of them was left breathless and blushing. Even though they were very devoted to their oaths and only saw Percy as a brother within their close-knit family, that didn't mean his body wasn't fit.

Artemis broke out of her thoughts when she heard her name being called out by Percy. Of course he only spoke in the language that they had devised. "Artemis, can you make sure no god apart from my patrons and you see Sophia? I would like to keep what has happened quiet for now."  Artemis couldn't help but agree with Percy even though she knew that it wasn't right. But Percy had that affect on people. He could change your mindset by just saying a few words. It was like charm speaking without the magic. He held such confidence, reassurance, and understanding in his voice. It was like he understood your fears and worries, and was reassuring you that every thing was alright. He could even command Chaos like that, she had seen it herself.

"Of course Perseus." She replied in English. The gods through her curious looks to which she promptly ignored. Artemis had been picking up on Percy's habit of annoying others and defying orders. But she only did it really when Percy was there, because she knew that no matter what Percy would never allow her to get hurt. She knew that Percy viewed her as one of the most important people in his life. The question was if it was just in a friendly or romantic view that had her stumped.

She quickly flashed away to the hunters camp, just outside the tent Sophia was in. She was about to walk inside when Thalia and Phoebe had appeared at her side in seconds.

"How is Percy?" Thalia was clearly worried, as her tone shock slightly. She and Phoebe were two of the closest, save herself, that Percy was closest to. They knew how much Sophia meant to him, and on top of having to reveal himself today, having to take care of another pressing issue must have been stressful and distracting. He already had a lot on his mind since he was the Prince of the Void. Percy was constantly with Chaos to sort out problems with either the only other universe that was still alive or this universe. And it was taxing for him, yet he refused to stop for the sake of others. It was a miracle if he was able to hunt with the girls.

"He's fine. A little grouchy and easily annoyed so I would advise not to tempt him, but still hanging on." I replied. A small wave of worry crashed over me and it was obvious that Thalia noticed. She was the only other that knew my feelings for him. She smiled at me to try to calm me down.

Before they could interrogate her more, Artemis slipped into Perseus' tent, the one place to which only Artemis and Percy was allowed in. She walked swiftly to the small girl and sat next to her, kneeling on the floor. She frowned at her past few months of her life. Never had she seen someone as young have such a tragic yet nice life. She had Percy as a brother, and that meant that she would be protected for life. But she had also been abused and tormented for something that wasn't her fault.

My inner thoughts were cut as Percy had came inside the tent. His hair was messy, an indicator that he was either nervous or angry and had ran his hands through it, just like I craved to do. I felt like a more reserved Aphrodite at my thoughts, but quickly discarded it. When Percy saw me by his sister's side, he smiled that blinding smile that he saved when we were in private and I was once again speechless. How did he have this affect?

The smile it self was a more sexy version of Apollo. It lit up the whole room with hope. His eyes sparkled delicately and beautifully. His eyes crinkled at the side and his posture straightened. The more time that we spent together, the more you could see his smile lines around his mouth and eyes. And I always felt proud of that.

Percy came next to me and bent down to start kneeling. He was still taller then me, but she didn't mind because she felt more protected like that. Knowing that Sophia was to wake soon, Artemis quickly got up and made my her way to the door. However, she stopped and turned. Percy was watching her carefully, unsure of what she was doing. She walked back to him silently and anxiously.

Before he could respond, she bent my head and whispered two words that had never been told to anyone from her before. Artemis gave him a chaste kiss on the cheek and walked out so fast, she doubt he could say 'peanut butter'. What she failed to see was that Percy was holding his cheek in shock and happiness. A light blush dusting his cheeks.

Over and over in her head, the two words repeated like a mantra.

"Thank you..."

Hey guys!

What do you think? Again, I went with trying to add more depth to the story, since I got positive results last time. I am pretty proud of this weeks work. However, I am writing this at 12.30 at night and I am pretty tired from waking up early. This update wasn't edited. I know that I have been slightly lazy with editing, but I personally find it hard to edit my own work.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed.
