Chapter 4

I rub my finger on my forehead after I parked my car and run my palm towards the back of my neck. I realized how overwhelming my job earlier, wala naman akong ni rereklamo dahil ginusto ko naman I must be thankful dahil I can do things na hindi ko nagagawa dati.

I tossed my body on the coach and lean back for a rest "Uhh your home na pala anak" I shifted my head to glance mama na kakapasok lang mula sa likod.

"Five minutes ago, wait are you drunk?" tanong ko sa kanya, her cheeks is flushing of red.

She smiled and nod "Obviously yes, Isiah brought a wine from Spain" napa-upo ako ng maayos habang seryusong nakipagtitigan kang mama.

"Isiah? you mean Isiah Ruiz?" I said it thought my hopeful tone, mom nod and motioned her head towards the kitchen door.

"He's at the back, kasama ng ate mo" tumayo ako at inayos ang sarili "Why didn't you tell me?!" pagalit na sabi ko sa kanya.

She shrugged "You didn't ask, pumonta ka na lang don may kukunin lang ako" Hindi na ako tumugon at nagmamadaling tinungo ang pintuan ng kusina.

Sa pinto palang I can hear my sister and him laughing, they're good friends because they meet first before niya ako makilala.

"Ate" tawag ko, they both glance on me. Nakangiting tumayo si Isiah ako naman ay nakaangat na ang kamay to hung my arms on his neck for an upcoming hug.

"I miss you" I said it on my sweetest tone, Isiah is my personal doctor since he's a neurosurgeon and si ate talaga ang dahilan kung bakit kami naging close at kung bakit naging doctor ko siya.

He help me through my therapy and medication, we've been communicating through Instagram and email. I bur my face on his chest while he gently rubbing my back.

"I miss you too Little Ivi" I scrunch my nose and hit his shoulder softly "I'm not little Isiah"

Humiwalay na ako sa yakap "Kailan kapa dumating? you should atleast informed na bibisita ka? para naman masundo ka namin ni ate" pagtatampo ko na tanong.

He slid his hand on his pocket "I message your ate first, sasabihin ko sana but she told me your busy on your project" binaling ko ang pansin kang ate.

"Yeah, I am pero pwede ko naman ipasok sa schedule pero since your already here welcome" nagsi-upo na kami lahat ng dumating si mama na may dalang pagkain.

"Kumusta naman ang project mo?" tanong ni ate, sumubo na muna ako ng pagkain.

"Okay naman, well I'm so productive since I really love the job" nakangiti ko na sagot.

Isiah nod "I hope you didn't overwhelmed your body so much Ivi, your still vulnerable" he sound like a doctor now.

Binaba ko muna ang hawak na kubyertos "I know my limit don't worry, I always notify myself to rest"

He rested his palm on my arm "Good to know, but kapag ramdam mo na bumabalik yung symptoms don't hesitate to informed me" lahat sila nag-aantay sa sagot ko kang Isiah.

"Yes doc noted" we continue our chitchat, I just listened to them nang makaramdam na ako ng antok nagpaalam na ako sa tatlo na papanhik na ako sa taas.
