The week goes by very fast, and before I even know it, it is already Friday. As the week passes by, I begin to understand less my relationship with Niall. We're not together, but still he claims we are more than friends, so I'm a little confused. We haven't gone out on a date yet, he still hasn't asked me on one yet. So our relationship is weird.
No one knows yet, at least I don't think they do. We decided we shouldn't tell anyone until it was something official, since we have just declared our feelings for each other. The only person that knows is Naomi, because I told her since she is my best friend, and obviously, I couldn't hide something like this from her. It is ironic though, because I couldn't hide this from her, but I'm hiding more important stuff, like everything that has happened with Harry, including the kiss.
What a great friend you are Shaila.
I shrug, trying to ignore the feeling of guilt I feel in my chest. I know I should tell her, I tell her everything, but I just can't. I don't know why, I like to keep my weird relationship with Harry to myself, I don't think she'll understand. She'll say I like him or something like that, which is not true.
I sigh, making my way through the crowded hallways to the cafeteria. The bell rang just a few minutes ago, and it is finally lunch time. I'm so relieved, the first few periods were absolute torture, I had two exams. I'm preparing for the finals, that are in less than a month, and after that we're having winter break.
Once I'm already in the cafeteria, I notice something strange. Naomi and Niall are sitting inside, with a girl I haven't met before, and guess who else? Louis. They're sitting with Louis fucking Tomlinson on a table. I mean I get why Niall is sitting with him, but Naomi? He is not her friend, at least I don't think so.
I begin to feel weird in my stomach, jealousy maybe? I don't know, but I begin to feel furious. Why are they with him? They know how I can't stand him. I don't want him to be friends with Naomi, I don't want him taking her away from me, she is my only best friend.
I begin to turn around to leave, but I hear someone calling my name.
"Shai! Over here!" I hear Naomi's voice. When I turn around, she is smiling and everyone in the table is staring at me. I try to force a smile, but I know it seems fake. Anyways, I make my way there.
"Hello Parker" greets Louis, when I take a seat beside Niall, in front of Naomi.
I sigh before I say a simple "Hi", and ignore his presence completely. I don't like being rude to anyone, but what am I supposed to do? He is a jerk, just like every other guy in this school, except Niall of course.
I notice the unknown girl sitting beside Louis. She has this beautiful light green eyes and straight blonde hair that ends just a little below her shoulders. She has some little pecks on her cheeks and nose, and she is wearing glasses. She is absolutely gorgeous, she really is. Amy has some competition now, because this girl is even more beautiful than her.
"Oh, Shaila, this is Sabrina" says Naomi, introducing me to the girl.
"Hi" I smile, and she does the same.
"Hi" she says shyly.
"Sabrina here, is from Deutshcland" says Louis, grapping one arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to him, but a little too hard. "Isn't that right Sabrina?"
Sabrina giggles and nods. "Yeah, I moved here a week ago with my family."
"Germany is a beautiful place" Louis compliments. It is weird though, I haven't seen him trying to flirt with a girl, I have to bite my tongue to contain my laughter. Guys are so obvious.
