In Birth and Death

Morgan: "What, no Hotch, now no Gideon?" he asks coming into the room to see Watson, JJ, and Reid sitting at the table
JJ: "No, not yet."
Morgan: "These guys have been out 2 weeks. You'd think the least they could do is be on time."
Reid: "Yeah, 'cause you're never late."
Watson: "So where's Prentiss?"
JJ: "Her phone keeps going straight to voicemail."
Watson: "Well, this room just keeps getting smaller and smaller, doesn't it?"
Reid: "Should we wait 15 minutes?"
JJ: "We can just brief them on the plane. Right now the police taskforce in Milwaukee needs our help. They've had 4 murders over the past 3 weeks, and in addition, another woman has been missing the last 2 days. They've all the women in their 30s, married with children."
Morgan: "Any connection between these victims?"
JJ: "Just that they've all been abducted from the area of Wauwatosa, all from very public places, but there's no witnesses."
Reid: "How are we even certain it's the same killer?"
JJ: "Well, for starters... All of the bodies have been dumped in the city's third ward. And there's this..." she says putting a picture on the screen that surprises the other three 
Watson: "Is that what I think it is?"
JJ: "All the hearts have been cut from their bodies."

Hotch: "George Washington said, let your heart feel for the affliction and distress of everyone."

Watson: "Hey, am I glad to see you." she says seeing Hotch come off the elevator 
Hotch: "Where you headed?"
Watson: "Milwaukee. Looks like another one. I'll catch you up on the flight."
Hotch: "I'm meeting with the section chief."
Watson: "Ok, so I'll wait. I'm just glad you're back. Trust me when I tell you things have been a little bit shaky around here."
Hotch: "Watson, I'm requesting a transfer."
Watson: "Is that a joke?"
Hotch: "No, it's not a joke. Strauss has suspended me once already. The writing's on the wall."
Watson: "Hotch, we both know that suspension was bogus."
Hotch: "You'll get a new unit chief."
Watson: "What if we don't want a new unit chief?"
Hotch: "Well, maybe the next one won't be such a drill sergeant." he says remiding her of when Reid was kidnapped and they told him his worse qualities 
Watson: "Look, are you a pain in the ass? Yes, sir. But wanting to hang out with you and needing you to lead this team are two very different things."
Hotch: "It's been a privilege." he says shaking her hand before walking off as she watches him before sighing out

On the plane

JJ: "You know, from this angle, she almost looks human." she says as they look over to where Strauss is sitting while reading something
Reid: "Has anyone talked to Emily yet?"
JJ: "She was gone before I heard the news."
Watson: "Now we're down 2 agents and Gideon's M.I A."
Reid: "Doesn't Strauss ever do any-" he says as Morgan quickly tells him to shut up when Strauss walks over to them as Watson clears her throat
Strauss: "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's protocol to brief everyone before we arrive at the crime scene."
JJ: "Yes, ma'am" she says as Strauss sits in a seat near them as JJ continues "This unsub is abducting women from very public places, with no witnesses. He holds them 48 hours, with no sexual assault, and then he dumps their bodies with their hearts carved out of their chests." she finishes as Morgan puts the crime scene photos down for her to see as she gives a disgusted look to the photos
Reid: "There's an obvious dichotomy in the skill the unsub exhibits in abducting these women and the fact that he cuts their hearts out so crudely."
Morgan: "We're probably looking at someone in a psychotic break. Could be a butcher. Might be a hunter. Somebody who's very comfortable being around blood, but as you can see, he obviously doesn't have the skills of a surgeon."
Strauss: "So do we have a working theory?"
Watson: "Sure we do. Somebody really doesn't like women." she says standing up while going into the kitchen area to pour herself some coffee
