Hotch: "No man or woman who tries to pursue an ideal in his or her own way isn't without enemies." Daisy Bates.

Hotch: "Have you I.D'd the body?" he says when they exit their cars and head over to a taped off area
Detective: "It's a girl."
Hotch: "One of the missing girls?"
Detective: "All I can tell you right now is it's a girl."
Morgan: "Did you draw up a list of those involved in the search?"
Detective: "You're gonna find the parents of the girls on that list."
Emily: "Please tell me they didn't discover the body."
Detective: "No. As soon as our dogs caught her scent, we kept them away from the scene."
Reid: "She'd been missing 18 hours?"
Detective: "That's correct. We found the body 5 hours ago." he says as they look down into a ditch and find a dead woman laying inside of it
JJ: "The parents have been here all this time?"
Detective: "Yeah. And I'm running out of excuses."
JJ: "I'm gonna go talk to them."
Morgan: "JJ I'll come with you."
Detective: "Thanks. I gotta be honest, guys. I'm glad you're all here, because I have never seen anything like that."
Watson: "Her face and her hands have been obliterated."

Emily: "Developed bruises, cuts, layer upon layer."
Reid: "Bindings cut deep into her flesh."
Watson: "And around her neck there's heavy bruising. She was strangled to death."
Reid: "A belt was used. You can see the indentation marks of a buckle."
Detective: "But why destroy her hands and face?"
Hotch: "It indicates she knew the attacker."
Rossi: "By destroying her I.D., they're hoping to delay you making a connection between the victim and the unsub."
Hotch: "It gives him time to get away."
Detective: "Do you think the other girl's still alive?"
Rossi: "Until we find her body, we should assume she is."
Hotch: "One thing's for sure-this is only the dump site. We need to figure out where she was killed. And which girl we're looking for." he says looking up and seeing one of the parents looking down at them 

Woman 1: "Please stop it! Stop it! Stop it!"
Woman 2: "Don't fight them."
Woman 1: "Don't! Oh, please, god, stop!"
Woman 2: "Don't show them you're scared."
Woman 1: "Daddy, help me, please!"

Garcia: "It lasts exactly 53 seconds, and then it goes dead. I think she was strangled." she says after playing the recorded message 
Morgan: "What do you want to do?"
Rossi: "Do? There's nothing else to do-the parents can I. D. the voice."
Emily: "Are you serious?"
Garcia: "No, no, sir, they can never hear this."
Rossi: "It'll be the fastest way to figure out who we're looking for."
Emily: "There's gotta be another way."
Detective: "DNA?"

Hotch: "My feeling is by the time we got the results back, it would be too late to save whoever they still have. It's up to you." he says talking to the parents 
Jack: "This message, what did it record?"
Hotch: "It's the...last moments of one of your daughters' lives."
Mrs. Owen: "Oh, my god."
JJ: "If you choose to wait, you can make a public appeal to the media."
Rossi: "Either way, we're still looking for one of your daughters."
Man: "Live appeal. Don't think that's a good idea, Jack."
Hotch: "Why not?"
Man: "Because we know they're set up to see the reaction of the parent, check for signs of guilt."
Mrs. Owen: "Is that true?"
Hotch: "In some cases."
Mrs. Owen: "I'm sorry, Bruce, I can't do this. I'm...sorry." she says walking out the room as the other two parents nod their heads to go ahead 
Hotch: "Go ahead, Garcia." he says as she plays the recording and they watch the parents faces to see Mr. Owen gather tears in his eyes
