It was a dark cold night. No one was out, everyone was in. The sense of pure fear hung on the air, likes it always been there. Just then there was a bright flash of light. All the power went out, then quickly back on, but 100% stronger than before. I quickly ran outside to see what happened. Thats when the shockwave hit. But it wasn't like normal shock wave. This was pure electricity. Everything went dark. I could not see anything. I could feel myself fall to the ground. It was like my whole body was hit by a lighting bolt 100 times in a row, I went into a server stroke. Then I was just outside of my body. I could see myself shake violently. Alone in the night, dieing in the street. I could not believe this would be how I go. It seemed like an eternity before I stop shaking. Then I woke up. Gasping for air, cloths almost completely burned off, in a complete pain I got up and ran to my best friend chloe's house. Chloe and I have been friends since we were in kindergarten, and dating since 7th grade. She was not at home, so I ran to our college campus. When I got on campus I realized I got there in under a minute. It usually takes 30 minutes to get there. I wasn't even winded, but I couldn't think about that right now. I had to find Chloe. Everything seemed normal, I looked around but felt foggy. I shook it off and looked with more intensity. This is when I first realized I could see through the walls. I was starting to freak out about what was happening to me, but then I spotted Chloe. She was stuck in the science room and they couldn't get the door open. I ran to the door and tried to open it but it wasn't budging. Looking through the door I saw some gas was leaking from the pipes, I assume from the explosion, but no one was acting different or scared. I ran to the window and started trying to open it, but it also was not budging. Chloe started coughing violently and fell to her knees. I ran backwards and sprinted to the window and tried to dive through it. I must have been going over 200 miles per hour when I hit the glass. I had never gone that fast but something was telling me it was at least that fast. When I hit the glass, I hit it hard.
Suddenly I woke up in a hospital bed. Doctors rushed over and started conducting tests. Chloe stood in the window crying her eyes out. I didn't understand what was going on. I was just at the college campus, and Chloe was trapped in a room, now i'm in the hospital and she looks fine. I called a doctor from his work and asked him what happened. I was shocked when he said I had been in coma for the past three months. About an hour had passed when the doctors decided I could rest. Thats when Chloe came in. She had stopped crying, but right when she entered the room it started again. We talked for a few minutes about small talk before she asked what I remembered from being in coma. I admitted I didn't want to talk about it but one day would tell her. I could never bring myself to talk about it, so I decided I would write about it.
Just something I came up with and thought id share it on here. What did you guys think?
