Scene 8-the cafeteria-noon-the "Breakup"
(Everyone in AIDEN'S group but FUEGO enters)
WILLIAM: I don't trust Fuego's plan. Why would he have you two actually break up.
ETHAN: We already analyzed that. Ethan and I talked about how Fuego may be working with Jonathan. The breakup we are having will be fake.
WILLIAM: WOW. Smart.
ETHAN: And remember how he said he liked Ember, but when you asked her out, he didn't stop you. We talked about that.
(Fuego enters)
FUEGO: You guys ready?
ETHAN: Yes.
(They go and sit down)
WILLIAM: (trying to spark the fake argument) So, what do you think about the movie you saw last weekend?
ETHAN: (going along with it) It was not good at all. It wasn't realistic at all.
AIDEN: (playing along) What do you mean? The explosions were so realistic!
ETHAN: Yeah but in space there would be no sound! Plus, you can't make a laser sword that easily!
AIDEN: I saw a video where fire was made to replicate the laser swords!
ETHAN: Yeah but that is a fire sword, not a laser sword!
AIDEN: You are so not going there. Since when does science need to be accurate in sci-fi movies?
ETHAN: Since sci-fi means science fiction!! This is why I hate sci-fi!!
AIDEN: You know what! It's over! We are breaking up! I can't date a person who hates sci-fi!
ETHAN: Well I can't date a person who doesn't follow physics! Bye!
AIDEN: So you won't give me a reason to stay with you??!! Now it really is over!!
ETHAN: Fine!
AIDEN: Fine!! (Walks away and sits at a table that has only JONATHAN sitting there and focus is on them)
JONATHAN: That was intense.
AIDEN: Yeah. (Starts to fake cry)
JONATHAN: I am so sorry. You okay? (touches his hand)
AIDEN: Yeah. I am just so upset. Why wouldn't he just fight for me?
JONATHAN: Maybe he didn't like you. Anyways, you said you would date me if things go wrong so, will you go out with me?
AIDEN: No! I really loved him. I just need time alone.
JONATHAN: (thinks for a minute) Aiden. I am so sorry. But I have something to admit. Fuego and I were trying to get you to break up so that I can go out with you and so Fuego could go out with Ethan.
AIDEN: (stops act and takes out his phone and taps it) And now I have the proof.
JONATHAN: What?
(ETHAN, WILLIAM, AIDEN, and the rest of the school gather around FUEGO and JONATHAN)
WILLIAM: I saw you form your plan. And I could tell Fuego liked Ethan. I told them and we planned on ruining your plan. They were faking the breakup. They could never break up.
FUEGO and JONATHAN/Fallen in Love Reprise
JONATHAN: Well, Fine! You can have each other. My heart was also set on another boy.
FUEGO.
FUEGO.
FUEGO I LOVE YOU.

WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?
PLEASE SAY, I LOVE YOU TOO.
I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE
WITH YOU.
FUEGO: WHAT DO I DO?
I DIDN'T NOTICE IT BEFORE
I KNOW IT'S TRUE
LOVE HAS OPENED IT'S DOOR
I THINK I LIKE YOU TOO.
I THINK I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE
WITH YOU.
AIDEN: So you can be together my friends.
JONATHAN: Wait, we are still friends?
ETHAN: Of course. We decided to forgive you.
FUEGO: Thanks but we don't deserve to be forgiven. We are so horrible.
ETHAN: It is Fine. Please. Just be happy. Have fun.
JONATHAN: Okay.
AIDEN: Now everyone sit down! Nothing to see here.
(Everyone sits down. WILLIAM sits with Ember and the focus shifts towards them)
WILLIAM: Ember. This may sound creepy.
I THINK I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE
WITH YOU.
EMBER: Will.
I LOVE YOU TOO.
(They kiss [can be replaced with a hug] and the scene ends)
