Scene 4-an ice cream shop-evening-The New Kid
AIDEN: Well, honestly, we've known each other since kindergarten. We know everything about each other. What do we talk about?
ETHAN: well, this family just moved into my street so I have a new neighbor. There is a boy our age.
AIDEN: Cool. He may join us at school.
ETHAN: he is. We should show him around. I already talked to him.
AIDEN: cool. I can't wait to meet him.
ETHAN: honest opinion. (Takes out phone and shows photo of the boy) He is kind of cute.
AIDEN: Dang he is.
ETHAN: just to clarify, I like you no matter what.
AIDEN: Same here.
ETHAN: I wish people were more accepting of us.
AIDEN: same here. I kind of feel guilty.
ETHAN: Why?
AIDEN: I told Jonathan that if things don't go well with you and I, I would try things out with him. But I don't want to try things out with him.
ETHAN: Maybe, we can get the new kid with him. Maybe the new kid likes guys, or is questioning at least.
AIDEN: Well. Then let's try that. (Checks watch) Dude. We need to leave for our movie.
ETHAN: Oh, well, let's go.
