Just as bad as Hell

I'd been at school for nine months give or take. It was horrible, Snape was angry that I refused to listen to him or the carrows. Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor had broken the rules and were all sleeping in the same area for safety. Slytherin was treated rather well until this last month, I was treated the worse. I often stayed with Ginny in the area they all slept, Blaise and Pansy brought me food as the carrows had 'cut' off my food supply, though for some reason Snape made sure I at least had one thing a day. It was weird, why was Snape making sure I was ok, I really didn't understand. All I cared about was Tyler, in his first class for defense against the dark arts he got hit in the face by one of the Carrows for not participating in doing the Imperious curse on second years. I also got a beating for not doing the same curse on third years. Neville got the worst after he refused not to perform the Cruciatus curse on first years, I mean we all didn't participate but he got it worst for pushing one of the carrows on the ground. The Cruciatus curse was a sore spot for Neville, due to his parents.

I was sitting next to Luna while studying. All our grades had dropped considerably in DADA seeing as they had us torturing eachother. Me and Tyler recieved more beatings after we got into arguments with Amycus Carrow, his sister Alecto seemed to enjoy watching kids be beaten. She began to hate me after I jinxed her and she was thrown around like the womping willow got ahold of her, but she rarely ever hurt me from then on. Ginny didn't get many seeing as she was smarter than I was and could hold her tongue.

"Do it now Riddle!" Amycus spat at me in DADA, he wanted me to use 'Incendio' on someone the year below me, the only problem was she wasn't very good at defensive spells. Incendio would burn her, but apparently no one could help her.

"No," I calmly said leaning against the wall.

Amycus pulled me off the wall and punched me in the face, the broken bone under my eye never healed properly. I was visually impeared in my right eye after Rodolphus hit it. Amycus happened to hit that spot, my eye was always blood shot which didn't help seeing as the carrows knew it was my sore spot. I grabbed my eye and hoped it didn't bleed, luckily that wish came true.

"Do it! Don't make me hit you again!" Amycus laughed while Alecto smiled,

"No," I said wiping the tears from my right eye with a smirk.

"Your asking for a fight Riddle,"

"I know, but not with you. With her," I said pointing at Alecto who suddenly went stiff, Amycus stood back smiling and gestured his sister to come over. Dean and Blaise shook their heads as I winked. Ginny sat down in her chair ready to watch.

"No wands," I said chucking my to Neville, Alecto huffed and tossed hers to her brother.

"Happy?" She snickered at me, I simply smiled.

She then ran at me but I dodged. She then proceeded to kick me in the guts, I felt winded but kept that to myself as I punched her nose, it started to bleed. The blood on my hand felt like glue, hot glue, it was gross. Alecto looked up, the blood wouldn't stop bleeding, she started to get mad and tackled me to the ground and tried to choke me, I then rolled her over and started to punch her in the face as she punched me. I was winning and as I went to stop Blaise and Dean ran over pulling me and Seamus kicked Alecto's hand and picked something off of the ground. She had a knife, and was about to stab me, if it wasn't for Blaise, Dean and Seamus I could've been dead.

"What were you thinking! Just because your losing you try to kill her!" Seamus yelled showing me the knife, I have no idea how she hid it. It looked to be between 4-5 inches, so clearly it could've done me some harm.

This threw Amycus off and he dragged his sister out of the class after yelling class was dismissed. Ginny sat me down next to her, we barely ever visited Madame Pomfrey, she was always full. Pansy handed Ginny a cloth and Ginny began wiping the blood off your face. With the 7th and 6th year classes joining up together the audience got bigger, but with Blaise being intimidating only the DA surrounded me. Romilda Vane was quite helpful actually, she could brew up potions rather easily and often had dealing potions in her bag.
