Hello Father

Everyone sat in the lounge awkwardly, Tom Riddle Senior seemed to be happy to be there having a conversation with James who was lying on the couch bloodied up, but seemed to be having a good time. After a while Remus coughed slightly getting everyone's attention.

"So, your Tom's father?" Remus asked awkwardly while you and Tom stood in the door way,

"Yes, that's me." Tom Riddle senior replied coolly slightly annoying you,

Regulus looked angry that Tom's father showed up to meet him after 16 years,

"Why are you here?" Regulus spat finally showing his old self, making you all kind of happy.

"I need to talk to Tom, and hopefully Merope,"

There was silence, they thought he would of known, that Marvolo would've told him, that Merope was dead. From a broken heart. Tom just pushed his head against the wall taking a deep breath, no one knew what to say or how to break the news, so you did.

"Merope is dead Tom Riddle senior, she died 16 years ago."

Tom Riddle senior froze out of confusion.

"But I saw her last month, in a house just like this" he said confused,

Tom lifted his head up and looked at you confused, that was impossible. She couldn't be alive, she died. Remus walked over to you and had a theory which made sense, so he said it aloud.

"There's no way Merope Gaunt's alive. However there is possibility she stayed...as ghost."

Narcissa nodded agreeing and Tom hoped that it was true, hoping to get a glimpse of his mother.

"Why would she stay though?" Peter asked

"It's because she has unfinished business. Similar business as the bloody baron." Remus said

Peter shook his head confused,

"The bloody baron was in love with Helena Ravenclaw, but she ran away as she was in her mothers shadow. One day when her mother was dying the baron went to go find her, upon finding her he begged her to return and marry him once again. Unfortunately she said no, he got so upset and without thinking he killed her, then killed himself, that's why he's called the bloody baron. Its Helena's blood. He then became a ghost as he had unfinished business with Helena, love." Remus finished and Tom Riddle senior smiled,

Tom pressed his head back against the door frame, your foot against it as well. Lily gave you a look for help and you went over to try stop some of the bleeding from James's body. Lily ran outside to get ice when you spoke.

"So, if Merope is a ghost, your saying you saw her in the actual Gaunt household?"

"Yes. She was in the kitchen crying, but when she saw me she vanished." Tom Riddle explained,

It was clear that what he had seen was a ghost. But they could still talk.

"Why do you wanna talk to her if your never loved her and abandoned your family?" Bellatrix asked curiously, Tom again lifted his head,

"Don't say I didn't love her." Tom Riddle senior said coldly,

"But you didn't, once she stopped giving you armontentia." You sneered at him as Tom grabbed your hand.

"No, no, no. When she fell pregnant she forgot to give it to me, I considered running, but I couldn't. Her eyes had it's own world and I was apart of it, I loved her but the reason I left was because she told it was a love potion. When I asked her why she'd do that she freaked out and tried to force it into my mouth before I ran outside, she then wouldn't let me in thinking I wanted to harm her. Merope, your mother, she broke my heart that day." He said to Tom,
