Frostbite groans as Blizzard, her tutor hands her a sheet of math equations. Once a week Frostbite only has five hours of training and the rest she spends with her tutor (Six and a half hours with him.) Frostbite loves it because she gets to study and learn about other places then her bedroom. She loves learning about the outside world because it's a break from her own.

The only thing she doesn't like learning is math. Once you learn the basics, like addition and subtraction and division and such, there's nothing else useful to it. Half of the math stuff Blizzard teaches her will never be used once in her life. If I ever get a life, she thinks.

Blizzard beats her twice with a metal rod. "Quit your whining. Someone must discipline you." He straightens his back a bit, looking straight forward with a smug grin. He is a sky blue color with big burly arms and tiny, petite glasses. He always has that smug grin on his face— well, accept when he gives her lectures. Then, he has this know-it-all face and tilts his glasses further down his snout, as If it makes him look wiser or something.

Frostbite answers all of the math equations within ten minutes. Blizzard marks them down, showing her how to do the two questions she got wrong. But Frostbite's mind trails off as soon as he starts about square routes and division. She begins to think about her plan to escape.

A little after Frostbite first started training she attempted to escape. But being small and dumb, she was caught immediately and was punished by fifteen beats on the back each day for a week and no food for three days. After that, escaping never crossed her mind again. Now that she's older, if she doesn't a create completely full proof plan, she could get caught and get an even worse punishment.

What if I ran to the Sea Kingdom? Maybe Queen Coral would take me in, or maybe if my father saw me, he would decide he wants to keep me. I could have a family and siblings and friends a—

"Frostbite." He snaps his claws in her face. That's it for math. Now let's work on some geography." Frostbite forces back a smile. Perfect timing. She can collect data on resting spots and how long it takes to fly between different areas for her plan.

Frostbite decided that she'd go to the Sea Kingdom first. Surely someone would take her in. If not... well, Frostbite wouldn't know what to do. Nobody else wants her. She'd have no where to go.

Blizzard rolls out a map. Frostbite points and asks questions about distances between different kingdoms, until she points to the Sea Palace.

"How long of a flight is it from the border of the Ice Kingdom to the Kingdom of the Sea?" She points at the different spots, looking at him for answers.

"Well, like I was saying for the other questions, it depends. The average middle-aged IceWing like me would take about a week and a half. A younger IceWing like you would take about two weeks." Blizzard always loves giving long explanations in his know it all voice, which will help lots with Frostbite's escape plan. If Frostbite wants, she can be manipulative, but anyone can fool Blizzard.

After tutoring and training ends, Frostbite starts to make a mental plan. She never knows when her mother could have servants sort through her stuff and find her escape plans. Frostbite will not take any chances of being caught— if she does, then she will most likely never get another chance. And Frostbite is sick of training each day for moons know what. She wants her own life where she doesn't have to work for her mother and take beatings whenever she doesn't do something perfect. But most of all, Frostbite wants friends. Someone who cars about her and won't make her feel so lonely.

Frostbite creates a little ice plate, carving out her plan. Once she's stared at it enough to memorize it, she uses her magic to wipe it into oblivion. These notes are just the beginning of this plan, just a wave in the ocean before the tsunami hits. Soon enough Frostbite can have the life she's wanted. The real question is, what does her mother, Queen Snowfall have in mind? Will she see this coming and plot against it, or has she already?

Hey guys... I'm really sorry about the missed chapters in the past two weeks. But that wasn't me just being lazy, I genuinely was not available. As some of you know, I went on a week long vacation and my dumb self thought I'd be able to write on the plane, but there was no connection (duh) so I couldn't write anything.

Now I technically don't owe any chapters because I wasn't slacking or pushing aside the chapters, but it's late right now and I'm in that writing mood so I'll give you one extra chapter to make up for it. I also wanted to add that I don't just brainstorm these chapters and write them then and there, I do take the time with my whiteboard to plan them out and I go over each one five times or more to be sure I catch all of the mistakes and make sure all of them are ready for you guys.

These chapters take time and I really do try, so if I miss a day in the future it's probably because I had a busy weekend and was only able to put out one chapter, and not because I just didn't feel like it. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter and THANK YOU SO FRICKIN MUCH for 100 views!
