What is a dream
Is it something you want
or something you need
A twinkle of light is the darkest places
A shimmer of sun in the cruelest spaces
You must work to get a dream
A passion
but you must work to fulfil one
A dream isn't just something you wish upon a star
It's something a that shows who you are
Hi guys! It's TwirlingJoy! I hope you enjoy this book I wrote!! By the way, read the introduction or the whole story won't make sense...

Introduction
Princess Hazel held her rose, wishing to find her true love. She kissed it, throwing it into the pond. She sighed, watching the orange rose float into the mist. It's petals separated, which meant the wish will soon come true. She smiled, her pale, pink lips softly stretching. She pushed her hair out of her face and loosened her shoulder blades. The cool, wind brushed against her face. With her eyes closed, she took in the weak sunlight trying hard to peek through the fog. Her peach orange dress swayed lightly as the breeze flew through her body in seconds. She opened her eyes, and noticed the rose was in pieces. Orange petals in the water. The stem had sunk but the petals stayed up. And if the petals were to sink, the wish would be gone. Hazel put her hands behind her back, turned around, and headed back to the kingdom.
Chapter One
Princess. Magic. Love. Wish. Dream. All beautiful words. Everything that describes this story. It's about a princess. That goes through horror, love, and miracles. It all started with a wish. One wish that changed life forever.
Princess Hazel pulled her luminescent white gloves up to her fingertips and wiped her dress with long, slow brushes. She stared at the glossy floor, ready to head out into the noisy, elegant ballroom. The tall golden doors slowly got pulled open. A bright, sunny, fake smile hit Hazel's face as she could see the hundreds of people dressed in suits and gowns staring at her. She walked perfectly down the aisle the fancy people had created to make room for her. King Bryan and Queen Polly nodded once at their daughter. They took her hands and pulled her up to the silver, diamond throne above of everyone. The old, always played music started, and they began walking around chatting and bowing at Hazel's feet. She wondered why her parents could go around and have a wonderful time and she had to sit and nod her head every time someone bowed and complemented her. She enjoyed being a perfect princess, she was polite, kind and loving, but it was boring at balls. She always longed to find a beautiful prince in the crowd and get married.
"Good evening, your majesty." An old man said softly, kneeling down and kissed Hazel's glove.
Hazel smiled and nodded, like she was supposed to. The old man's wrinkly face made out a smile and he clamped down the steps. Hazel watched him. Suddenly, his cane wobbled and he fell to the ground. Hazel gasped and pushed herself out of the throne as quick as she could. She grabbed his arm, looked around his body to see it anything was hurt. Her frightened eyes met the old man's and he whispered,
"I'm okay, darling."
Hazel half smiled and patted his hand. She sprung up and hurried over to her parents. Bryan and Polly turned around, their crowns on their heads twinkling.
"Come on!" She screamed pulling them over to the stairs. The man hopefully looked up at his king and reached his hand out. Bryan squeezed the man's fingers as the people crowded around him.
