"I...I can't believe this! Your...Your...Your horrible!" Hazel expressed her anger more than she had ever had.
"Chill, girl!" Sandra exclaimed, a humorous tone bursting out of her voice like an orange's juice being squeezed out of it.
Hazel grunted and crossed her arms. "How did you get here, Sandra?" She wailed.
"I figured, after I escaped Derek, I'd rest. So I found that forest and found a nice rock to sleep on. It was a the tiniest bit mossy, like someone shot a moss gun on it-"
"Sandra! I don't need the details!" Hazel spat, putting her hand on her face.
"Jeez...Okay so I slept on that rock and the next thing I knew, I was in a room filled with gold! So when I was called to dinner I spoke with the king. He was offended by one of my comments so he tossed me in here. Who would throw someone in a black hall? He said it's name was The Hall of Darkness...I mean what kind of name is that? Couldn't the name be a bit more clever?" When Sandra would complain, she'd go way into detail. She used big adjectives and would give her opinion about everything.
"Sandra, how did you know I even had a power?"
"Alright, you want a long story? Here it goes, sweetie. So I've lived in the kingdom, I suppose your kingdom, for a while. I grew up there, and I always had a close eye on you. When you grew up your father and I were quite close while you were in princess class. He would take me into the secret rooms of the kingdom and we would bond. One day he pulled me into his room, while you were gone, and I could tell he was startled. He told me these words, "Sandra, my daughter is unusual. She has a power that haunts me at night. I've noticed different personalities from her. She is pure. She is full of light. I've been holding this secret in for too long now and even my wife doesn't know. Neither does Hazel. Your the only one I trust so keep this between you and me. Hazel has the power to put a strong, invincible force around her." So those were his words, not mine." Sandra explained.
"But...No." Hazel was amazed by her father's selfishness.
"I guess he didn't love you enough to tell you. So, I followed you and commanded those men to kidnap you. All those men were under my control and when I heard that you'd gotten out, I followed you again. Then Derek tried to kill me, yada yada yada, and there you have it. Happy?"
Hazel shook her head in disappointment, "No. My father was...he didn't tell me but he told you?"
"Yes." Sandra broke a wicked smile through all the fake sorrow, "I'm so sorry."
Hazel knew all her "sorrys" we're fake just to make her feel worse.
"Sandra, you will not get away with this."
"Ha! Blame your father, he told me about all this!"
