After telling Hazel that Sandra tried to kill her, it was just Derek and her.  They were back to their usual routine.  Wake up, eat berries, explore, eat, then sleep.  They skipped lunch because Derek believed it was the most useless meal of the three, and besides, it was a waist of food.

"I wonder where Sandra has gone..."  Hazel randomly said in the middle of the night.  She stared up at the stary sky, her hands on her chest.

"Why do you care?  She tried to kill you."  Derek mumbled, the dirt on the ground spread over his face.

"I just feel like she may be following us."  Hazel replied shrugging.

Derek grunted and turned to his side.  Hazel sighed and let her eyes guide her to sleep.

The next morning they woke up at precisely 4:00 AM.  They needed to wake up early if they wanted to get a move on.  They weren't ever exactly sure where they were going though.  They met a colossal forest surrounded by creepy noises, darkness, and a brief selection of light.  Derek stopped Hazel from walking in.

"Wait!  Don't just go in.  It could be dangerous."  Derek warned, over exaggerating his worried voice.

"Derek, it's fine."  Hazel assured him, wiping his hand off her arm.
