"Miss, miss wake up."  Gernis said, pulling the covers off the bed.  Hazel groaned and yawned.  "Yes?"  she mumbled, stretching her legs.

"Miss, it's time for breakfast."  Gernis said softly, for once, her tone low and fragile.

"Goodness, excuse me but is that the way you wake people up?"  Hazel asked, trying hard not to let her anger show in her voice.

Gernis was struck by surprise and she stood up straight.  She bit her lip and inhaled nervously.

"Very sorry."  was her reply.  She didn't have any look of guilt anywhere on her.  Gernis simply shrugged her shoulders, like nothing happened, and repeated, "Breakfast is ready."

Hazel wobbled downstairs, her feet falling asleep as well as her eyes.  She wiped the stupidly tired look off her face and continued down the dozens of steps.  She had to grab the side railing once in a while to catch her from falling.  Hazel saw a glimpse of the kitchen so she immediately tried to wake herself up and walk in without looking like a bear waking up from hibernation.  So she carefully walked down the last of the stairs and took a seat in the large grand table with marble and gold.  She noticed a few seated people sitting with her.  Eldon, A fancy lady with rings on each finger (probably the queen)  and a tall, bearded man dressed in diamonds and silver (Hazel figured it was the king)  She thought it would be most polite to bow or bob her head in respect so she let the corners of her mouth turn up and nodded her head.  The queen and Eldon did the same but the king simply stared at his sapphire bracelet like he thought he was to good for bowing.  Or he just was blind.  Hazel kept great posture when a plate made of china was brought to her.  She didn't stare down at it to see what was on it like she usually did, she was to busy watching the king in his glorious robe and armor under it.  She missed the way her father's armor would shine just the same as this king.

"Excuse me?  Why are you staring?  It's not polite."  the queen complained, her British accent sounding annoyed.

"Oh I'm sorry," Hazel said turning to the king and speaking to him, "I just can't stand but at least glance at that armor of yours."

The king frowned with no thankfulness what so ever and snapped.  He whispered something in Eldon's ear ever so quietly and turned to his food.  Eldon glared at Hazel and said, "Come with me and bring your food."
