"Okay...well..uh...what do you mean?" Hazel asked. Derek got up, "Young u really don't know do you? You have a power..." Hazel shook her head, "Haha! Power? No."
"You saw what you did." Derek protested. Hazel nodded, with a shameful look on her face. "I know...I don't want this though...I know what happens to people with powers!" Hazel yelled, "And besides, I live not for any old power, but to find my true love..." She finished under her breath. Derek sighed, "Love is a lie, now come on.!"
"Why did it have to be me?" Hazel said as they wondered around in the forest. Derek ignored her because he hated hearing people blabber about themselves. They were lost, in the forest. "Why couldn't I just find my true- oh wait, never mind..." Hazel had remembered what Derek had said about love. Derek grunted, getting annoyed. "Wait, where are we?" he said, stopping in his tracks.
Hazel frowned, "We are lost?"
"Yah...come on let's go make camp."
They found a lovely tree to rest under and a lot of leaves for warmth.
"is...is love a lie?" Hazel asked Derek in the middle of the night
"I really don't know...whenever I have it, it is." With that, they fell asleep.
