1.4 Reunite

Yena was pacing around the dimly lit room. She had a pout on her face.

"Man... this is getting boring" she sighed.

"Boring?!" Chaewon said "WHAT PART OF BEING IN A SCHOOL FILLED WITH ZOMBIES DO YOU FIND BORING?!"

"Shut Up!! I'm b o r e d" Yena continued to pout and hopped her way towards the girl lying against the wall "Joyul~~ Play with me?"

Yuri, on the other hand, paid zero attention to Yena as she continued reading the book on her lap.

"Hmm It takes 5 hours since they've been turned for zombies to develop their sight.... Zombies have shown difficulties climbing to high places or stairs but this ability can be overcame as time passes" She mumbled as she scanned the words on the book, immersing herself in thoughts.

She abruptly turned her head to the side where Yena was standing next to her, making their faces inches away from one another.

A blush creeped up on Yena's face as she stared into the blondie's eyes.

"W-w-what?"

"Yena" Yuri said seriously "STAIRS!!"

"S-stairs?"

Everyone else in the room turned towards Yuri.

"What do you mean by stairs?" Eunbi questioned.

"Didn't you guys notice?" Yuri asked "All along the way here, I never saw any zombies on the stairs. They're all just walking on the corridors"

"Wait....Come to think of it, you're right" Minju agreed "How do you even notice this Jo Yuri?"

"It's all written in this book" Yuri said as she lifted up the book in her hand.

Meanwhile, a certain someone's soul had already left her body.

"Oh my god Yuri's face was so close to mine ajdgjshdhsj SHE'S SO PRETTY" Yena's mind was filled with these thoughts.

Just then, Hyewon's phone vibrated. She took out her phone and hurriedly picked up the phone.

"Kura!!! Thank god you're safe" Hyewon exclaimed excitedly "Wait why are there loud footsteps?"

"Y-yeah" Sakura panted "Hyewon-ah I have no time to explain. Just tell me where you are right now"

"Umm okay. We're at the classroom at the end of the corridor on the second floor. Some other students are with us too"

"Gotcha"

And with that Sakura hung up the phone.

"Weird" Hyewon mumbled.

"Who was that?" Chaewon peeked our from behind.

"Sakura" The girl replied "Looks like she's safe as well"

At that moment, screams and rapid footsteps were heard throughout the corridor infront of the classroom.

All the other girls were on their guards.......except for a certain duck.

Yena opened the door without thinking twice and her eyes glistened with excitement.

"Heyyy Yujin-ahhhhh" She yelled as she waved her hands into the air like a little kid "Oh Chaeyeon and Hii-chan are with you as well!!!"

The other students in the room peeked out the door and their face became pale.

"H-hey Sakura" Hyewon mumbled before yelling at the top of her lungs "YOU DIDN'T TELL ME THAT A HORDE OF ZOMBIES WERE FOLLOWING YOU WHEN YOU CALLED"
