1.8 Breakthrough

"Geez... They're taking so long" Nako sighed as she finished repairing the bus "When are they going to come?"

"Be patient shorty" Hitomi replied " They will come sooner or later. For all I know, they might even bring zombies along with them"

Nako glared at Hitomi as she jumped on the bus, as she didn't like a part of what she just said.

"Shorty?!" She narrowed her eyes.

"Yes, shorty"

"I swear to god if you call me that one more time, I'm going to punch you so that you'll fly all the way back to Japan"

"Hmm...." Hitomi put her hand under her chin as she pretended to think "I wouldn't mind that if you come along with me too, shorty"

Then she winked at Nako. The other girl was flustered by what she said that she didn't notice that Hitomi called her shorty.

"W-what do y-"

"Try to start the engine already" Hitomi changed the subject as she pinched Nako's cheek, leaving the shorter girl in a blushing mess.

"S-shut up"

Nako sat on the driver's seat as she turned the key that was already inserted into the key hole. The engine made a loud roaring noise before becoming all quiet again.

"What the..." Nako mumbled before trying to start the engine again.

However, it was to no avail.

"What's wrong?" Hitomi asked.

"The engine is not starting"

"What? Try starting it again"

Nako did as she was told but like before, the engine made a grumbling noise before it died down.

"Fuck"

Just then, they heard footsteps approaching them.

"Oh I think the others are here!" Hitomi exclaimed before she turned back to look.

However, to her horror, it wasn't the girls but a group of around ten to eleven zombies running towards the bus at full speed.

"Shit! Get on the bus quick!!"

Hitomi got on the bus as fast as a bolt of lightning and shut the door close a milisecond before a zombie could get on the car.

The two girls held on tight as the bus shook vigorously due to the zombies pounding on it from outside.

"Fuck Now what do we do?"

Yujin's group was running towards the bus when they saw a bunch of the undead attacking it.

"Shit those guys are here too" Minju mumbled under her breath as she quickly took out her phone and dialed Nako.

"Nako-ya Where are you guys?!" She asked urgently.

"W-we're in the bus. Don't worry we're safe b-but" She groaned as the bus shook more "I don't think the bus can hold on any longer"

"Okay we'll figure something out" Minju reassured as she hung up the phone.

The girls looked at the bus under attack as they did not know what to do.

"Guys..." Yujin said in a soft voice "I don't think we have any other choice"

"What do you mean? Nako and Hitomi are inside!! We need to save them!" Wonyoung exclaimed as she stared at Yujin.

"Yeah I know... which is why we have no choice but to break through that barrier of zombies!" Yujin yelled out as she picked up a branch lying on the ground and run towards the bus.
