3.5 A Dead Harbour

The sun rose above the horizon, painting the morning sky with aesthetic rays of orange in midst of purple.

"Are you sure you're not coming with us?" Eunbi asked Kaeun before she got onto the van.

"Yeah I'm sure" Kaeun replied with a small smile before facing the rest "Once again, I'm sorry for hurting you the other time"

The girls reassured her that it was fine befoe bidding their goodbyes and entering the car. However, before Yuri could get on, Kaeun stopped her.

"You.... What's your name?"

"Hmm?" Yuri turned back before smile softly "Jo Yuri"

"Jo Yuri huh......Okay. Have a safe journey"

With that, the van took off with a good mood.

(Back at the cabin, Kaeun was thinking to herself.

"Jo Yuri..... Jo Yuri..... Where have I heard that name before?" She thought to herself before something came to her mind "Wait..... Isn't she...."

Then she shook her head with a questionable smile.

"Our paths will cross again" She muttered as she looked into a distance.)

"Woah.... I'm gonna miss her..... She was such a nice fellow and even treated us meat" Yena whined as she plopped down beside Yuri, who just gave her a questionable look.

Noticing her expression, Yena questioned her.

"W-what is it Joyul? Why're you staring at me like that?" Yena blushed before muttering softly "You're making me shy...."

"Duck.... What were you about to say to me last night?"

"Last night......?" Yena thought carefully before she remembered what happened last night "U-u-umm It's nothing! Nothing at all! Hehehe"

Although suspicious of her words, Yuri just shrugged it off before continuing to get some sleep.

In the front of the bus, Nako and Hitomi could only sigh seeing their interaction.

"How's Operation:Yulyen progressing Captain Hitomi? Over." Nako spoke.

"No progress at all, General Nako. Over and Out"

"Anyways... According to Kaeun, the laboratory where the experiments were carried out is at Jeju Island so this means our next stop is Incheon. Then we can get hopefully get a boat to Jeju"

"Hmmm" Hitomi wondered before speaking to herself "If Jeju is an island...... How did the zombies get to the mainland though?"

At the very back of the bus, Yujin and Wonyoung were cuddling with each other as they giggled.

"Youngie~~ Gimme a kisss~" Yujin whined as she puckered her lips.

"Yujin-ah there're others here~" Wonyoung giggled as she poked Yujin's dimples.

"Ya! We know you're together but tone it down will ya?" Chaeyeon squinted her eyes at the couple before sitting on Sakura's lap "Right? Saku-chan"

She got a peck on her neck in response, making her chuckle a bit before snuggling up against Sakura.

"Fucking hell. These lovebirds" Chaewon rolled her eyes at the sight before turning towards Minju "Don't you think they're annoying?"

However, the brunette only glared at her in response.

"What?"

"Nothing" Minju muttered before getting up and going to the back to lie down on a bed.
