4.4 Ghost

Voices and murmurs could be heard as two figures were talking in the dimly lit hallway.

"I have to ask though" Chaewon started "How come the zombies in front of this place came out of the ground?"

"Well, that area is actually a cemetery" Bo-mi explained "And there was a leakage during the experiments, causing the break out to start due to the chemicals being carried to the corpses in the cemetery by the drainage system"

Chaewon nodded as she listened.

"Then, the zombies started attacking the islanders, managed to get onto a boat and reached the mainland"

After Chaewon finished asking her questions, they bid their goodbyes and went to their own separate rooms.

However, a certain someone overheard their conversation.

"Ahhh What a long day" Chaewon groaned as she slumped onto the bed beside Minju and snuggled closer to her "I'm so tired"

Minju chuckled slightly and kissed Chaewon's forehead.

"You should get some rest then"

"I don't want to" Chaewon replied mischievously "I wanna spend time with Minguri"

Knowing fully what Chaewon meant by that, Minju smirked.

"Oh really? How do you wanna spend time with Minguri?"

"Well.... I'll show you" Chaewon winked as she got on top of Minju and leaned down "After all, learning practically is better than theoretically"

Chaewon placed her lips on top of Minju's and molded them together.

The kiss was painfully slow, yet passionate.

As they were about to take it to another level, the lights went out.

"A power shortage?" Minju mumbled against Chaewon's lips.

"Who cares" Chaewon softly caressed Minju's neck "Maybe it is less embarrassing to do it in the dark"

Meanwhile in Yuri's room, Yena was helping Yuri put ointment onto the wound on her shoulder.

Making sure that the ointment was spreaded evenly, Yena carefully bandaged the wound.

"All done!" She clapped as she sat back down onto the chair beside the bed.

"Thanks unnie"

Yena stared fondly at the girl. The events that took place during the day went through her mind, making her heart ache.

She really thought she was gonna lose the girl.

The horror she felt when she was holding Yuri who got bitten was something she never wanted to experience again.

Losing the girl right in front of her was her biggest fear.

"Yuri-ah" Yena called out softly as she held the girl's hand "Can I hug you?"

Yuri was dumbfounded at the question but chuckled nonetheless.

"You don't even have to ask"

Yena moved forward and slowly hugged the girl, making sure not to come into contact with her wound.

Although Yena wasn't saying anything, Yuri could hear all the things the former wanted to tell her.

She could understand her words through actions.
