2.0 Escape

"Hurry up!!" Sakura urged Nako who was still trying to start the engine.

"I'm trying!!"

Hyewon glanced at the field where Yujin was still running around trying to distract the zombies and saw that the girl was slowly getting tired.

Wonyoung stared at the running girl with worrying eyes. Her heart was beating fast due to nervousness for the other girl's safety. She had tears on the side of her eyes as she silently cheered on Yujin not to give up.

"Yujin-ah Please don't get hurt" She thought to herself.

Just then, a loud noise filled through the air as the bus vibrated.

"IT'S WORKING" Nako yelled out in accomplishment.

"Finally!!" Hitomi squealed out in joy as a sigh left her lips.

"Now it's time to show those good for nothing creatures who's the boss here" Nako grinned evily as she gripped the steering wheel and stepped on the pedal "Everyone hold on tight......because this ride's going to be a wild one"

The moment she stepped on the pedal, the bus moved forward with high speed. Nako turned the wheel towards the direction of the field and drove towards Yujin.

"Wait wha-" Yujin's eyes opened wide as she saw the bus coming towards her in full speed.

"YUJIN-AH JUMP TO THE SIDE" Wonyoung yelledas she opened a window.

Yujin did as she was told and jumped to the side a few inches before the bus hit her. The bus ran over the zombies, making the creatures fly all over the field.

"Holy shit..... Shorty's got some temper" Yujin exclaimed while sitting down on the grass.

"Ya Ahn Yuding What are you waiting for?! Get on quick!" Yena yelled from inside the bus.

The door shut close the moment Yujin got on and she was welcomed on board with a couple of fists.

"You idiot!! I was so worried!" Wonyoung said as she constantly punched Yujin's arm.

"Wai- Ah ah it hurts" Yujin laughed as she tried to block Wonyoung's punches "I'm sorry I'm sorry"

The punches slowly go soft and she was brought into a warm embrace instead. Yujin was surprised but still reciprocated the hug.

"Yujin-ah Don't do anything like that again.....please" Wonyoung said as she sobbed on Yujin's shoulder.

"I won't so please stop crying hmm?" Yujin reassured her as she looked into Wonyoung's eyes and softly caressed her hair.

They were pulled out of their own world when someone cleared their throat.

"You lovebirds.... We're here too you know?" Eunbi said with a monotone.

Behind her, Yuri and Minju were 'whispering' to each other.

"She's just jealous because no one would do that to her" Minju claimed 'softly'.

"Yup I agree" Yuri nodded with her arms folded.

"I can hear you two!!" Eunbi retorted.

They were bickering with each other when Nako spoke up.

"Umm guys..... these guys are getting back up"

True to her words, the zombies were getting up one by one, even though some of them didn't have all limbs intact.

"Drive!" Chaewon yelled.

Nako stepped on the pedal and drove out of the field. They exited the school compound and, to their horror, saw that the city was in chaos as well.
