He was wearing black sweat pants and an oversized hoodie and sneakers and placed a beanie on his head along with a mask to cover his face.

His assistant instructed the driver to drive around the city to make sure they weren't being followed.

His assistant then looked back at him and raised his eyebrows. Didi nodded, the mask hiding the grin he always had when he thought of Shen Yue. He remembered the letters and fan art showing support for him and Shen Yue that the fan club in Latin America had made for him. Oddly enough, he received that package in Paris. He had a twinkle in his eye knowing that there were others who loved her as much as he did and that found joy in them being together.

They drove around for a half an hour and dropped him off a few blocks from the meeting spot. He hunched over to make himself appear shorter and changed his walk to remove the long stride and swagger that he usually had. The effect was that he appeared awkward and unconfident.

He entered the building, made his way to the apartment, and making sure that no one saw him, let himself in. He turned on the light and took off his beanie and mask. Moments later, he heard the door open.

He looked up and watched her come in, uncharacteristically silent. She saw him and smiled largely, closing the door quickly behind her.

As soon as the door closed, he crossed the room in two strides. He stopped right before her, a goofy grin on his face. He noticed that she, too, was in street clothes. She was wearing a black hoodie and joggers with sneakers, her hair tossed together in a ponytail and she was wearing a black Balenciaga baseball cap. He took off the cap and tossed it onto the counter, his eyes never leaving her face. She threw her arms up around his neck and went up on her tiptoes, tilting up her chin. She could not stop smiling.

He wrapped his arms around her back, lifting her up slightly, and leaned down until their noses touched. Sometimes, when they hadn't seen each other in a long time, he liked to draw out the anticipation of touching her lips. He knew she felt the same thrill as he saw her moisten her lips.

"Miss me?" he teased.

"No," she replied. "Not at all."

They were both still smiling.

"Oh?" he asked, feigning disappointment. "Maybe I should leave then." His eyes moved down to her lips.

"Hmm, maybe you should." Her eyes could see his lips move into that wonderful, curved smile. Kiss me now, Wang He Di. She saw him lick his lips and press them together.

She could no longer help herself. She brought his head down and with her lips parted, she kissed him with all the longing that she had been keeping inside.

Strawberries, he thought distractedly, as he smiled at her initiative. My sweet Shen Yue.

His lips still connected to hers, he reached out a hand behind her, and flipped the light switch, plunging them into darkness. They had the same thought at the same time: This is going to be a good night.

The End.

Those who have followed this story from the beginning, I apologize for taking this section out of Part 14 and adding it here. This is one of my favorite parts, so I wanted to save the best for last.

Thank you so much for reading this work. I have not written creatively since college and I have never written fan fiction before. Meteor Garden brought out a side of me that I never thought existed.
