Shen Yue was resplendent in a Selene Chow gown. The gown was a periwinkle blue color that flowed and swayed with her every movement. The sleeves were translucent and fell a couple inches above her elbows. The bodice showed off her lithe and graceful curves, with a square neckline that highlighted her collar bones. A thin black strip of velvet encircled her waist. She felt like a princess.

Her longtime hair and makeup artist, ZhangZhen, had gathered her hair in an updo with a bit of height at the crown and a few face-framing tendrils pulled out. Her lashes were carefully separated and lengthened on the top and bottom. Her skin, which already looked luminous, had a light mix of moisturizer and highlighter applied. A light pink coral shade was chosen for her lips to complement the gown's color.

The overall effect was that of an ethereal, radiant fairy.

Her staff praised the look as she took a selfie with ZhangZhen.

Later, as she waited backstage to be announced as the Most Popular Actress Among Teenagers at the "Like China" 2020 Arts and Literature Pioneer List of Stars Gala, she thought, Do I really look like a princess? She felt beautiful, but there have been times when she had liked a certain outfit or look and others had critiqued her mercilessly. It is of no consequence, she firmly set her mouth and tilted up her chin. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. I have been working hard, and I have been learning and growing. I have been incredibly lucky to have been given the roles and opportunities I have had so far. Thank you for noticing and appreciating my hard work. She had a fleeting thought of him, but she quickly pushed the thought aside. Later, she thought. There will be time later. She smiled, and as she heard her name, she lifted her gown, stepped into the lights, and carefully walked down the steps to receive her award.
