This movie is a classic. I had a great time and It's my first Star Wars movie and I loved it. Can't say it enough. There was action, drama, comedy, romance.
Basically, Darth Vader kidnaps Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2D2 and C-P30 are trying to save her but when they do all is well but Darth Vader is still out there and free. I wanna say how much I love this movie and it deserves it's title for being such a classic.
At first, I hated Han and Leia together. They argued and I kinda shipped her with Luke up until Episode Six.... (sigh) but I realized how much chemistry Han and Leia together. Yes, sometimes their arguing can be annoying but it's apart of their charm. And at the end of the day they love each other and know it.
And no I am NOT shipping them just because Luke's her brother. It has nothing to do with it at all. I just never understood their chemistry until Jubba The Hutt showed up. Then, I realized that they were meant to be together and it's perfect.
Luke was a great character and he was entertaining and he wasn't a brat. Sometimes when the leading characters are about his age they're bratty and he's not. LOL.
The side characters like Chewy, R2 and C-P30 were the most entertaining for me for some reason. I guess it's cuz of them being comic reliefs.
I guess it's not much of a problem but to me it makes no sense. Leia gives Han and Luke medals but not Chewy. Chewy felt left out and growled. (Yes I noticed) lol. Anyways, I felt like it wasn't right for it. Yes, it's iconic but I felt like near the end of the trilogy would have been better. But that's not a big deal. It's still great. LOL.
I don't get why they played it off as if Luke, Han and Leia would be a love triangle. It kinda felt forced, I guess. It makes no sense to me why they did that if Luke and Leia were gonna be twins. It's kinda gross but they didn't know. I don't know if that was the original idea or if they weren't gonna be twins. So I won't really complain about it too much.
I WANTED YODA!!!!!! He's the best character in the series.
My rating: 8/10.
