This movie isn't bad......

I don't really have much to say about this and it's not a bad thing. It's just I realized that I gave Luke a hard time.

Luke used to be care free. A bit whiny at first. But he grows as a character. The first time I saw this movie I didn't understand why they disgraced Luke like this. Heck, even Mark hated what they did to his own character. But I get why Luke was how he was in this movie.

He failed Ben and lost hope. The older we get, the more we understand. We always fail and it makes us wiser. Luke failed Ben and gave up. Yes, it sucks Luke loses hope. But remember The Lion King? Simba felt ashamed and ran. But Luke and Simba came back and made things right and won. Luke died to save Ben.

And James Earl Jones played Mufasa and did the voice of Darth Vader so this movie kinda gives me Lion King vibes and it doesn't help that both movies had an uncle versus his nephew and the good guy ended up being James' movie son lol. And both villains have a scar on their face.

The only problem I have with this movie is what the movie did to Finn. His scenes were either rushed or pointless to the plot.

My favorite parts of the movie was Luke teaching Rey. It showed us how Luke is as a teacher. And REYLO. Gosh that's my ship. Lol.

My rating: 8/10
