Before you tell me. Yes I know it's photoshopped. And no, I don't care. I have a huge crush on Ben Solo/Adam Driver. I wanted to post the Reylo kiss but it's too large.

Deal with it.

This movie is trash. I don't think I need a full review to explain it but here we are. The movie wasn't that bad.... until the ending. Usually, I don't let a scene or two ruin the movie. Sometimes I base how I feel about the film when it ends. I went to see it in the cinema on January 3rd, 2020. Ever since I have seen it I've been dragging my butt to review it so I don't have to relive the trash of this movie.

The ending of this movie ruined ANYTHING I enjoyed about this film. Ben Solo died and the Skywalker bloodline is no more. Sure, some scenes were stupid and unneeded but I still laughed at them.

Rey being a Palpatine was a surprise. It did feel like it wasn't planned but a good surprise, it was. Get it? Yoda..... no? Okay.........................................................................

Chewbacca and C-P30's fake out deaths were dumb but I did cry when I thought they were dead. If JJ wanted a reaction from someone then he did his job I guess...? I don't want to give him too much credit but whatever.

Back to Ben's death. GOSH they wanted to make him the next Anakin Skywalker. I'm telling you. Killing him was so lazy and dull and I hate it. I hate it. Not every Star Wars redemption has to end in death. Darth Vader's made sense. He had a beautiful wife who was pregnant. Yet lost her and the children for picking the dark side. He had a choice but Ben didn't. He didn't know better. His parents failed him and gave him to Luke to "fix" him. Luke sensed darkness but instead of helping he goes to kill him.

Rey showed him love. She fought for him this entire trilogy. But instead of a Reylo endgame they kill him.

For a title that says "The Rise Of Skywalker" I hoped it was Ben coming back and Rey showing him his way to the light. But they instead give her the Skywalker title.... just cuz. And yes I support teaching kids you don't need blood related family. Family is people who love you and support you. But the way they did it was so lazy and distasteful. It was clear that she's meant to be a Skywalker. But this isn't how it should have been. Rey could say, "Rey Solo" that way adopting both Solo/Skywalker and Luke and Leia could still be seen as parents and she could use it to announce her love for Ben.

I'm glad I can say I reviewed this movie so I can move on.

My rating: 2/10

And the only reason why I'm not giving it a 1/10 is cuz of the Reylo & the Rey Palpatine thing.
