Sugawara Koushi - Red Strings

"[Y/n], are you alright?" Koushi asks with a little concern in his voice.

[Y/n] snapped back from reality. "Uh? Oh.. yea, I'm fine." She smiled slightly. She tightened her grip on the boy's hand for comfort as they continued their winter walk in the park.

The girl has been thinking lately about hers and Suga's relationship. Don't get her wrong, they have been dating for a little while and love each other very much, but something feels off, or wrong.

It's like they're not meant to be..

"Let's stop by that cafe across the street, okay? It's starting to get a little more cold out here." Koushi chuckles as his cheeks and the tip of his nose was a rosy red color.

The girl nodded her head with a small smile as the two went on their way to the cafe.

The lovers sat down and ordered their drinks, as silence filled the atmosphere. Koushi looks down with a guilty look. "Our strings.. they're not connected.."

[Y/n] looks at the boy with confusion. "What?"

"Our red strings, [y/n], we're not tied together." The boy hiccups as it looked like he was about to cry.

The girl suddenly panickes as she watches the boy she loves slightly sobbing.

Koushi sniffles and wipes away at his eyes before any liquids start pouring out. "I love you, [y/n], so very much. I want to be with you forever! And I'll try my best for our red strings be tied together. Promise you won't leave me for someone else?" He held out his pinky, waiting for the girl to accept it.

[Y/n] looks at the boy's pinky and then back at him. She smiled with a little blush and locks her pinky with Koushi's.

At that moment, their red strings slowly started breaking with their unknown soulmates to only be tied again with each other, how it's suppose to be.

After that day, the couple would hang out and be together with every chance they could get.

A few years later, out of school, the boy was very happy with his relationship with the girl. He proposed at [y/n]'s favorite place, (fav outdoor place or just a place)

(Cmon, be funny with this slight serious chapter ^)

And then they finally they had a family of their own, a boy and a girl.

Who could've thought you can change your red strings and tie them with someone elses?

The ending is ew this whole thing is ew for me, but hoped you somewhat enjoyed this short mess.
