Ushijima Wakatoshi - Happy

it was l/n y/n first day of being a third year at shiratorizawa. she used to attend nekoma but had to transfer because of her mom's job and business.

as she was looking for her class, she bumped shoulders with someone by accident. she turned around and apologized many times. when she looked up who the person was, she was a bit shocked. there were two very tall guys standing next to each other. the redhead was looking down at her with an amused look and the other with a straight face that almost shook her with fear.

but the guy with the straight face look oddly familiar to y/n.

"ooh~ are you new here?" the redhead asks. the girl nodded her head. "sadly, i'm lost." she sighs.

the redhead chuckles. "yeah, the school's pretty big." he smiles and then looks at the other who wasn't paying attention at all. "wakatoshi-kun, you should help this poor girl at finding her class."

"she'll be able to find it on her own if she looks hard enough." he said as he began to walk away.

the redhead looks at the girl with an amused look and chuckles.

"oi," the girl called out that made wakatoshi stop in his tracks and slightly turn around to face y/n. "i have really bad sense of directions and I really need help right now, so it wouldn't hurt you to at least tell me the way. you don't even have to show me if you don't want to."

wakatoshi fully faced the girl and his facial expressions really hasn't changed. "what class are you in?"

"class 3-3."

wakatoshi pointed to a classroom behind the girl. "it's right there."

the girl turns around to look at the class room number. y/n became lifeless when she realized it was right by her this whole time.

the redhead started laughing and slapped the others back. "wakatoshi-kun, you didn't have to be so blunt about it!" he grinned.

the boy turned around to walk away. the redhead tapped the girls shoulder while snickering. "i'm tendou satori, and the other was ushijima wakatoshi. what's your name?"

"l/n y/n.." she replied, still lifeless.

"see you later, l/n-chan." tendou smiles as he caught up with ushijima.

"ushijima wakatoshi.." the girl thought and then gasps when she figured out why she recognized that boy. y/n saw him on a magazine for being one of the top three aces in volleyball.

lunch time came zooming in and y/n was struggling to find a seat anywhere. she sighs.

"l/n-chan!" someone called the girl's name that made her turn her head in that direction. she saw it was tendou motioning for her to sit with him and ushijima.

y/b quickly shuffled her feet and gulped in nervousness. she took a seat next to the redhead since she feels more comfortable around him than ushijima.

ushijima just quietly eats his lunch from his tray while thinking to himself  as the other two got to know each other and talked about anything.

farm boi glances up at the duo and he felt something that made him shocked. he didn't really know what it was but he didn't like the two getting along so well with each other.

it's been days and months since the three knew each other and has been best friends ever since. it took ushijima a bit to open up but he finally did and y/n was a little surprised to see ushijima's personality.

tendou and y/n were especially close and ushijima didn't really like it but let it go. there were a few times when the brunette would want the girl to himself. tendou let him and just laughs at his friend.

months has past and y/n and ushijima started dating. the three would still hang out together but to tendou, it felt like he was third wheeling. the girl would occasionally kiss her bf on the cheek, give him head pats, give him little hugs, and everytime it would make tendou hurt inside.

the three friends walked through a park together and tendou would always walk behind the couple. the redhead hasn't really seen ushijima like this before, but he's glad that he's happy.

tendou would watch the twos backs as he smiles painfully to himself with a relaxed posture. 'and here i thought i would get the girl. you're always stealing the spotlight, you bastard, wakatoshi-kun.' the redhead thought to himself as he smiles sadly.

yikes what have I done to poor tendou :(
