For anyone who did notice, sorry I didn't post for a few days. I'm studying for midterms but should be back to schedule by Wednesday.

"Emery! You made it!" Felix beamed. Em couldn't help but blush, she had never seen him so excited before. Only just before battles so maybe this was the case as well.

"It's Em," she stated in hopes to draw attention away from her red face as she set her bag down.

"I like Emery more. It's something I know that no one else does," he boasted before grabbing his sword. "And now that you're done throwing your fit like yesterday, we can get back to training," he added. She rolled her eyes and grabbed her sword too.

"I was fine with training before, you just happen to be extremely nosy," she explained and turned towards him.

"I've learned that if you study your opponent it makes it easier to defeat them," he grinned as she moved closer.

"Then how come I barely know anything about you and I always win?" she asked. He scowled and lunged forward which she easily avoided.

"You're not going to win this time," he snapped before swinging his weapon towards her once more which she avoided as well.

He was fast and swift but she was faster. The only thing he had on her was weight and strength but he didn't know how to use that against her. She knew that her agility and speed would help her win every time, which she did. Within seconds, her sword was to his throat and his weapon was on the floor. Felix was about to retaliate before Catherine walked into the training room.

"Ah looks like Em won again. What do you expect from the daughter of Jeralt Eisner?" she chuckled before her mood switched. "My condolences by the way Em," she added. Em bit her inner cheek while nodding in response. They were silent as Catherine grabbed something she left behind and went on her way. When they were alone again Felix was staring at her in awe.

"What?" she demanded. He moved her sword down before he could speak.

"Jeralt is your father?" he asked? "No wonder you're so good."

Em turned around immediately to grab her things. She didn't want to talk about her father, she didn't want people to talk about her father, she didn't want anyone to think of her father.

"Where are you going?" Felix asked, following behind her. "We've barely started," he added but she never responded. "Emery?"

"Don't call me that!" she snapped. "There's only one person who can call me that and you're not him!" she spat before grabbing her things and running out.
