- Chapter 14 - The plan

I froze as the familiar caller-ID lit up my screen. My eyes looking from my phone to Yuna, who's smirk kept growing in a mischievous way. "Aren't you going to pick up?" she asked, making me swallow the lump in my throat. "Of course..." I mumbled and put the phone against my ear.

"Hey, my love! I just wanted to-" His voice was so full of excitement. "Heeey dad!" I quickly said, interrupting my boyfriend. Yuna's eyes went wide and was filled with confusion. "Huh?" He was confused as well. "Did you watch our live? You know... The girls and I? WE'RE in the practice room," I listened as he mumbled something in realisation. "I totally forgot that I put your name as my everything, because mom lost a bet to you, and you had to be listed as my favourite for a week," I started to fidget nervous with my fingers, laughing awkwardly. Yuna's eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"Can I call you back later, d-dad?" The deep chuckle on the other side of the line, didn't help my cover up. "Sure. I just wanted to congratulate you and the girls, but it seems like it's not the time... The guys and I would love to invite you out for dinner to celebrate," He said, and I smiled at his thoughtfulness. "Of course... I love you! Bye!" I waited for his reply before hanging up, and as I opened my mouth to say something, a text from Jin appeared on my phone.

Jin (My twin)

Jin - Delete this before showing the girls. It's just so you can say we invited you guys out. Better than your bad lying abilities... And you're supposed to be an actress!!!

Jin - Hey! The boys and I wanna celebrate you guys and the new album! Wanna join us for dinner at some restaurant the guys wanted to go to? Our treat!

I deleted the message before showing the girls the invite. They all started to chant excitedly. "FREE FOOD! FREE FOOD! FREE FOOD!" I shook my head, but couldn't help but laugh. These were really my kind of people.

YUNA

"She's lying!" I exclaimed as I walked up to Sakura's side on our way to the dorm. The others wanted to take a longer way to the dorm, because the sky was apparently "fascinating" in Grey's opinion and the two others didn't want her to walk alone. I startled the young girl, because she almost stumbled as I came out of nowhere. "What are you? A ninja?!" She put a hand to her right side, "Oh... Wrong side..." she switches it to her left instead, making me laugh.

"At first I thought it actually could be her dad, but then I realised! It's very rare that Grey only stays in Korean, when she talks to her dad! She always switches lane into English and then back to Korean! It's a habit of hers, when she talks with her dad! Just like she told us her mother does with English and French sometimes! So no way that could be her dad!" I explained my observation, being a bit proud of myself for noticing that.

"What if this just was one of the few times, she stayed in Korean?" Sakura shrugged. "The screen said 'My everything'!" I argued, wanting to convince her. "She said he won a bet against her mom?" That girl really wasn't going to let me win. "But didn't you notice how panicked she was, when I gave her the phone? Or when he started talking and she cut him off?" I wanted to kick the lamp post that we were passing, but knew damn well my foot would hate me for that.

"Okay, let's say it was her boyfriend... We still don't know who that is..." Sakura stated, and she was right. I felt my shoulders get heavier as the disappointment hit. But then... It hit me...
