FLASHBACK END - GREY

"Hello? Earth to planet Claire?" Abby waves her hand in front of my face, bringing me back to reality. "What? Sorry... I was somewhere else," I smiled and she shook her head. "I swear to god, your thoughts take up too much space in that head of yours. Go get changed and let's go grab some coffee before meeting the others," She pushes me towards the stairs and follows me to my room. I pick out an outfit and change, before grabbing my purse and head out.

I greeted the doorman and security guards, before heading down the street with Abby, who skipped like a little child on their way to the candy store. "You know Ethan might be there today, right?" Abby said pushing me in the side teasingly with her elbow. I rolled my eyes, "Ethan and I are just friends. It's just like Mason and I. We are only friends as well. When do you stop trying to setting me up with our male friends?" "Woooow... Meanie! We need to get some coffee in your system before you rip someone's head off!" She acted panicked and pulled me towards our usual favourite coffee shop down the block.

My phone started ringing, when we entered, so I asked Abby to go ahead and order, while I took the call outside. "Hello?" "Hello, is this miss Park Jia?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion before answering, "Yes, this is Park Jia. Who is it?" "Ah. I'm Bang Si-hyuk. The CEO and founder of BigHit entertainment. I want to inform you, that you're offered a place under my entertainment. It's nothing much yet, but the future is bright," The male voice on the other side said and I almost dropped my phone. "Wait... Are you... I'm... I... Sorry, could you say that one more time? I don't think I heard it correctly," I was able to choke out.

The man on the other end laughed, "I want you to become a trainee under my entertainment. You have a gift for this. I want to try putting a girl group together, but if it doesn't turn out, I want you to be a solo artist. As of now I will try to get a group for you, but what is important is that you want to take my offer. I'll expect you to arrive in two weeks, where I will introduce you to my boys and the rest of the crew. The building is small, but I look forward to moving us to a bigger one. I will rent a dorm for you and I'll have a manager for you soon. I will send the contract to you as soon as possible." Fighting the urge to scream was hard, but necessary. Not that the people around me would mind, they're used to far weirder things, but I don't think the poor man on the other side of the line would like to have a heart attack by my sudden outburst. "Thank you, sir! Thank you so much!"

I called my mom right away, "What is it, my love?" "Mom... Guess what just happened!" I said trying to control my excitement. "Hmmm... Free coffee and you ran into a celebrity?" She guessed sounding completely lost. "No, I just got a phone call. From the owner of BigHit! I'm going to be a trainee!" I couldn't contain my happiness any longer, and my mom only shared it. She started yelling in french like a maniac, but since I understood her I knew she was just as happy.
