That weekend without school in their way and equipped with a long list of questions about his life, Delia and Macy set out to find their father. Macy hesitant as always asked, "Shouldn't we just go home?" her knees bounced restlessly, "Why don't we try a different day?" she urged on the bus.

They were heading towards the nicer part of town for round one. Delia couldn't wait, "It's eating me alive. I gotta know." she jigged. Macy settled into her seat, she couldn't fight it anymore. It was going to happen whether she wanted it to or not.

They stepped from the bus and onto the street where the first man lived. It was a nice, up and coming neighbourhood of which the twins had yet to see, because of how new it was. "He must be loaded!" Delia exclaims in glee, like it was a bonus.

The twins were well off but not rich. They still had to work for their own money when graduated high school, but it wasn't like they were going to be stressed for cash. Even Bianca who lived in a poor neighbourhood, was able to become a stay at home mother due to Paul's success at work.

Macy and Delia located his home, with nerves racing as their gazes set on the house. Delia breathed out and in, like she was about to faint and couldn't breathe. Her hands trembled, and clammed up, while Macy remained calm and collected.

Without warning the front door of the house opens, revealing a man.  Delia ducked behind a trash can across the road, then pulled her sister down with her so that the man wouldn't see them. "That's him." Delia mouthed.

The stranger was golden haired, so much so, that it was most definitely natural. Delia was so excited with the idea of meeting him that she didn't bother to look twice, and raced over to him. Suddenly she found herself uncontrollably shaking, "Dad!" she yelled, running straight into the strangers arms.

Macy cringed violently at her sister, and was in to much shock to even move a muscle. The man dressed in suit and tie, with a brief case nearly flipped. "Jesus Christ!" he grumbled, "Remove her please?!" he yelled to Macy, finally able to uncling her from his body.

"Dallas Winston?" Delia says with a full voice. The man straightens his tie, "Huh?" Delia felt as if she was on a cloud, so far above, "You're our dad." she said point blank. The man recoils, "I am absolutely not. If you mean another man could get pregnant." he spits, exposing he wasn't straight but in fact gay.

Delia fell flat, and marched down the drive way in a huff. Macy didn't expect it to be him, and obviously took it much easier. Delia stomped in a mixture of emotions, walked back and forth, like she was about to go back and fight the guy. She finally relaxed a bit, becoming elated again, "We still two left!"

Macy's dragged again to an building site where one of the men worked. Although a little creepy,  Dean was such a computer whiz that he managed to find out where this man would be during the day. Delia marched straight into the site, Macy raced after her with a hard helmet. They walked up to a worker, "Tell us where Dallas is." Delia asked bluntly, "Please." Macy added.

They pointed up to a machine, where a man who looked older than thirty five was working. Delia not caring whether it was dangerous or not went straight over to him. On closer inspect he did have a drinkers face, dark brown hair but was around 50 pounds heavier than they imagined, tanned leathery skin from the heat and an eyebrow tattoo.

Delia started to yell out to him, "Dad!?" which only made the man's coworkers laugh. A little embarrassed, the man jumped down from the industrial machinery, kicking dust up into the air as he did, "Listen kid. I ain't your daddy."  he snarled. "How can you be so sure?" Delia needed the answer.

"Whose your mom?" he asked. "Bianca Winston. And you're Dallas Winston, right?"  Delia asked, so close to finding out if he was the one. He chuckled with relief,  "Not anymore. That was the ex wives surname."

"Damn it!" Delia storms away for the second time. Macy shrugged to the man, "Thanks anyway." she said disappointed. "Yeah, yeah." he waved them off. Delia mopes around, kicking buckets and dirt, before settling down on the street curve with her head in her hands.

Macy comforts her, showing her the map, "Look this last one isn't that far." she pointed. Delia throws her hands up in the air, "What's the point!" she wailed, giving up, "We're never going to find him!" she cried.

"It's only a five minute walk, we'll never know unless we try." Macy insisted, pushing aside all her worries that consumed her for the sake of her twin sisters happiness, "Only five short minutes."
