Macy sprawled over the bed sheets with a magazine, "Would you rather date a guy older or younger than you?" she asked Delia, who was in return brushing the knots from her mattered hair. Delia thinks about it for a moment, "A little bit older. I guess-- Dean is right?" Dean's her boyfriend who she's been seeing for a year now.
"A lot older. He's like four years older than you." Macy confirmed in disgust. Delia rolled her eyes at her sister, who hadn't even had a first kiss yet, "Age doesn't matter when you're in love." Macy almost snorted at that remark, "Having your legs up in the back of his hot rod isn't love!" Delia hits her with the hairbrush, "Ow! I was kidding!" she wasn't...
Bianca opens the door without knocking, "Privacy invaded." Delia growls, moving past her mother. Bianca forgot about the whole knock before entering room, she never had to do that when they were much younger, but remembers the pain it caused her at that age. She wouldn't have dared to speak to her mother the way that Delia spoke to her, then again Bianca loved her kids.
Delia and Macy got under the covers, settling in for a nights rest. Bianca sat the on edge of Macy's bed. "I'm sorry about tonight. Alright, I hope someday I'll be able to tell you all you've ever wanted to know about your father, but I'm not ready." she informed them sincerely.
"Well." Delia said blankly, she could be heartless without realising it at times. "We're just curious, that's all." Macy adds to make it better. Bianca nods, then leaves. As soon as door closed, Delia was on her feet again removing her shirt to replace with another.
Macy sat up, scrunching the sheets in her hands,"Just tell mom about Dean already. I'm sick of all the sneaking around every night, you've got to be exhausted from the lack of sleep." she said. Delia shoved hoop earrings into her ears, "She wouldn't understand, she's from another realm."
"You're acting as if she wasn't our age once. Does giving birth at 17 ring a bell?" Macy concluded, beginning to get irritated at her sisters behaviour. Delia didn't have anything to come back with, "Drop it would you?" she ended it. Macy scoffed, throwing her head back on the pillow, "Use protection!"
"Will do." Delia said smugly, hopping straight out the window. She slid down the tree trunk, and into Dean's arms. He waited every night for her there.

Dean parked near a creek, Delia was on the floor of his truck. He was on top of her, thrusting and grunting. She laid there like a dead weight, too much was on her mind. When he was finished, Dean rolled over on his back. They sat up together to catch their breathes.
He pulled a little ring from his jacket pocket, surprising Delia, "It's a promise ring." he slides it on her finger, it was a shiny little crystal with a silver band. He paid for it with his part time job as a pizza delivery guy. Delia's mouth wouldn't shut, "A promise?" she gushed at the gesture.
Dean was elated, "It's like marriage but without the commitment, ceremony..." Delia kissed him full heartedly, then dropped her head down, "Is something the matter?" he wondered, she seemed a bit off tonight. Delia pouted, "Macy and I found a photograph. We think its our dad... I don't know how to feel about it."
Dean threw an arm around Delia, "Does Bianca know?" he hugged her. She thought back to earlier today, "She totally freaked when I even mentioned it, something is up." she said. Even the thought of her mother made her mad. "Yeah." Dean said, not knowing how to respond. He wasn't real smart or anything, but cared enough, "Round two?" he urged. Delia nods and lies back down.
