Bianca had spent too much time thinking over dessert recipes, not that she could cook to begin with. Every year the family takes turns hosting Christmas Eve dinner, and this year it was Amy and Steve's turn. This meant the rest of the family would help out by preparing meals, Bianca got the dessert portion of the meal.

She sat at the kitchen table all afternoon flicking through magazines and cook books, at one point she slapped the book shut and announced that she was giving up. Luckily for her she had three stunning daughters who would happily run to the store and slap some icing on an already made cake.

Dallas came over around noon to visit again, he had been coming over almost everyday after work for dinner and often stayed much later. Macy and Delia loved having him around, it just felt right. Loanne on the other hand was hesitant to the change in her life, at the same time Paul would call her every night to talk, he wasn't about to give up being a father.

"Hold still." Bianca said, tucking her tongue between her teeth. She attempted to fix Dally's shirt collar for the dinner, knowing it was a massive risk exposing that he was back in her life so soon. She didn't have a clue how people would react to it, but hoped they'd spare private details in front of her daughters.

Upstairs Delia found herself staring at her reflection in the mirror, she became furious all over again. She just couldn't fit into any of her clothes anymore, and it hadn't been more than a couple of months. She just couldn't believe that her stomach was going to get even bigger. Delia was about to call Dean to tell him but Bianca yelled out that it was time to go.

Dallas drove to the house and they all shuffled up the driveway, anxious to meet the family again. Delia took a deep breath, held onto the wrapped up cake, Loanne knocked. All five of them held their breathes as Amy answered the door.

At first glance she thought it was Paul, until he followed Bianca into the foyer. Amy had to do a double take and immediately threw her arms around Dallas, "Oh my god!" she blurted out. "It's been a while." Dallas said, hugging her back.

"I can't believe it!" her loud voice alerted Steve with the newborn that they had last month, Bianca quickly grabbed a hold of her niece named Ginger, and kissed her forehead, Loanne had a peer at her well.

"Look Steve!" Amy exclaimed, Dallas was slightly embarrassed by all the attention. Steve realised then it was him, "Wow you serious haven't aged mate."  Steve pulled Dallas into a manly hug, slapping him on the back hard then a firm handshake.

It was all too touchy-feely for him but he suppressed the discomfort for Bianca's sake. Amy ushered everyone inside, "Well,  come on in everyone. We have the kids out the back, and appetisers on the way. Bianca come to the kitchen with me."

"I brought cake!" Bianca exclaimed placing the heavily iced dessert on the counter. Amy raised an eyebrow at it, "From the store?" she asked, knowing her sister too well. "You bet." Bianca winked.

Delia strolled aimlessly around the house for a bit. It sure was massive place, she had too much on her mind to go downstairs to the party. Dean had to know, he desperately attempted to call her all week long, yet she never told him. Maybe Macy said it instead.

She wandered down to the kitchen and when it was empty she took the phone from the wall, wrapping the thick cord around her hand then went into the cupboard to hide. Delia could only see from the thin slats that shielded light from her face, she impatiently waited for someone on the other end to pick up.

"Dean? Can you put Dean on the phone?" she asked before anyone could even answer. The person on the other line sounded like they took a step back, "Who's this? He's a bit busy right now." Delia sighed, "It's alright, I'll call back later then." she said defeated. Without warning on the other end, Dean was passed the phone and he spoke, "Hello?"

"Oh, uh It's Delia."  she confessed surprised he was even there. After a pause she spoke again, "I need to talk to you. Can we meet somewhere tonight?"

"Uh..." Dean trailed with another pause. Delia didn't want to play games, it was now or never. "Listen here buddy. I wouldn't be ringing you on Christmas Eve night unless I was in serious trouble. I need to speak with you and I cannot do it over the phone. If you say no then you'll never know what I want."

Mike Patterson was the reverend's son and Macy's biggest competition at school, yet she couldn't take her sparkled eyes off of him. He got so tense sometimes, where his face would turn a bright red to match her blushing. Sometimes she wondered if he felt it too.

Macy wasn't open about her love interest, definitely not to the extent that her twin sister was. Mike made his rounds as a polite boy then caught Macy's glance, he started to walk over which only sent hives down her back.

When everyone else gathered around and began to speak, that's when Mike took Macy around the back of the pool house. Not even half way around the corner he was all over her, to her surprise he laid his lips right against hers. This was her very first kiss.

The connection was there. It sparked with his tongue slipping into her mouth. Mike started to move faster than normal, backing Macy against the house, even his grip became stronger. Macy melted in his touch, "It's alright babe." he started sweet talking, "Everything is alright."

Mike pulled out a rubber, "I know you feel it too." he said. Macy grinned at it, this was her chance to prove she isn't just the good girl and maybe finally get some well deserved attention taken from her twin.

Mike lead her into the pool house, which Amy and Steve only used for guest. It remained mainly unattended. She knew what was about to happen. Macy was tired of being good, for once she wanted something of her own.
