The week had been boring. The day had been boring. The hour had been boring. Life had been boring in general lately.

No new dragons. No new rescues. No nothing.

Everything was oddly normal and was quite annoying to the Rescue Riders. They were used to saving Viking or dragons every couple minutes, not full on days! Or even hours!

Usually Elbone was trying a new business idea and getting in some dangerous situation or Magnus was up to no good with another failed Mechano-Dragon. There was none of that this week, just unsettling quiet.

Leyla had decided to go over some dragon facts to keep the boredom tide down, however it wasn't working very well.

"Sorry sis, but this is not really helping." Dak interrupted leaning heavily on Winger's blue-scaled side.

"What are we supposed to do..." moaned Cutter, lying on his back with his wings splayed out.

Summer looked uneasy, "Something weird is going on, there no possible daring rescues in sight.  Everything's been slow and..." She paused, thinking.

"Normal?" Burble said.

"Yea." She said.

"Normal's boring." Aggro huffed.

An idea suddenly hit Leyla straight in the head, "Why don't we go to this awesome place I read about?"

"What?" All of the dragons and Dak said at once eagerly.

Leyla smiled, "It's on an island not to far from her. It's mostly a orcky place but it has some caves filled with pools warmed by a volacano on the island."

"I'm defiently going." Aggro said, getting up.

"Me too." Cutter agreed and leaped to his claws.

"I think everyone's going." Dak laughed and hopped on Winger's back.

Leyla was about to get on Summer and then remebered something very, very important and very, very dangerous.

"Oh no." She said, "Those pools are also rumored to have some type of a dangerous kelp."

Cutter readied his spiked tail, "We can handle some kelp."

"Besides, how dangerous can they be? Thier plants!" Aggro stepped forward.

"Annnnnd easily-angered Scauldron Dragons and there were some rumors of eels..." Leyal finished and instantly all the dragons jumped.

"Eels? No thanks!" Burple said, his wings flutterting nervously.

"Sorry." Layla shrugged and continued her review of dragons facts.

Eventually the sky darkned and the stars started to appear. Night had fallen and it was time for everyone to get some sleep and hope that tomorrow wasnt boring.

As the Rescue Riders drifted off to sleep, a small sound could be heard. The clicking of claws perhaps, the rustling of hay? Two of the five dragons slunk off from the rest. They checked behind them so many times that they didnt even no the other was up.

Aggro ganced behind her back one more time and looked forward to see Cutter standing and awake right in front of her. They jumped and thier eyes widened.

"Are you sneaking out too?" Cutter whispered.

"Yea. To the warm pools Leyla was talking about?" She whispered back.

"Defientley." He responded.

They snuck out of the Roost as quietley as dragonly possible. They glanced back one more time then took to the ksy, trying to keep thier wingbeats silent.
