Cutter lurked under the trees, shadows swamped his dark scales. Small bits of lightning cracked around his horns as he snuck closer, and closer, and closer too-
"Hey! What are you doing?" Burple suddenly came up beside Cutter.
Cutter jumped in surprise, "Shhhhh." He said and went back to slowly creeping up on Magnus's Mechano-Dragon. He slid out of the bushes and looked up to make sure no one is around. He didnt have much ligthning stored up left since he was only part Skrill and he couldnt store ligthning for long so he tried to be quick.
"Um, ok?" Burple said and tilted his head.
Cutter pried open a panel ont he Mechano-Dragons part belzium chest with the knife-point spike at the end of his tail. He was looking for something specific. As far as Cutter knew something like a Mechano Dragon just wasnt possible without something really powerful powering it... so Cutter decided to find out...
(He was also secretly going to sabatoge the Mechano Dragon while he was at it.)
Cutter focused, when doing something like this, it was easy to forget about... Leyla...
Cutter stuffed his nose into the inside and looked around, he sharpened his vision so he could see every detail. He wondered if Magnus could have possibly stumbled upon some random magical glowing crystal or something and used it in the Mechano Dragon.
Dragons could breathe fire so why not magic exist?
-------meanwhile------
Parrot wasnt having much luck. His flock was nowhere in sight and he's been travelling for days.
Maybe I should go back... going outside he Western Corner is dangerous... Parrot thought anxiously although he knew deep inside going back wasnt in option.
He pressed forward, squinting at the open ocean below him. For a second he thought he saw something, a gray smudge on the horizon. It looked like a huge island with a giant towering mountain.
But for some reason... it was all smudged and blurry, even if he got closer and closer.
Parrot shook his head, Am I imagining things? He thought, but he swore he regonize the unforgiving gray cliffs from somewhere... but where... He tried to remember where he had seen this place...
His memory was a blur as he hesitantly flapped closer. The island still hada blurred outline and some of the features were messy and strange like they werent real... but they also did seem real in a sense.
Deep from Parrot's memory, something glimmered. This island had been a clawed carving on a wall from when Parrot was a young Dragonling and the old dragons of his flock were telling stories about BoulderDeath... and...
Certain Death Island
Parrot's eyes widened and his heart skipped a beat. He froze and his eyes darted to a couple of blurry figures flying towards the humungoes mouth of the cave that took up the entire mountain. BoulderDeath's cave.
Surely Parrot couldnt have gotten this of track to end up here!
But he did...
But he did...
---------
Cutter pried a warm stone with some strange engravings on it out of the heart of the Mechano Dragon. He stared at it for a moment. He swore the stone looked like a peice of amber with something weird and diamond shaped inside. He didnt get a chance to really look at it before he heard footsteps.
He darted out from under the Mechano Dragon as fast as his Hybrid speed would let him. He dove into a tree and looked on as Magnus and Axel marched right over to the Mechano Dragon, looking thier normal unhappy.
The strange amber stone suddenly started to glow... Cutter looked down in surprise at it.
The aura it gave off was strangely specific and seemed to be speaking directly to Cutter's mind.
Memory of. Alpha. Hidden World. They. Abandon. Flew far. To. Death. Boulder. Death. PARROT.
Cutter was so surprised he forgot to stay hidden. Magnus whipped around and spotted the gleaming horns of a certain trouble maker.
--------
Parrot tried to fly away but he for some reason just couldnt. The island itself seemed to be moving closer to him.
Instead of hovering a couple wing beats from the edge of the island Parrot found himself hovering right over it, watching as five Nightfury like dragons made thier way down to the mouth of the cave, boldness shining in thier blurred eyes.
Two of them seemed to be lightfurys on closer inspection. Two out of the other three Nigthfurys had dark blue scales and the other had normal black one scales with lava orange eyes.
Parrot held his breath as they shouted bravely into the cave of a killer. He couldnt make out the words but he could still hear the distant sound of thier united voices.
Parrot's eyes widned more as re regonized the Alpha glow on one of the dark blue Nigthfurys. The dragon had green eyes and managed to look dead serious and brave through the blur.
W-what is a Hidden World Alpha doing on Certain Death Island? What's going on! Parrot thought and looked around frantically but his wings kept him in a hovering position.
The gleaming red eyes that belonged to BoulderDeath herself was am even greater blurr as a gaint dragon shot from the cave closing it's mouth over one of the lightfury's, who screamed in panic. The other dragosn scattered, flying away as fast as they could.
The furys seemd to realize this was a mistake that would cost them thier lives.
Parrot wondered what this had to do with anything.
It wasn't long until there was only one dragon left, an Lightfury with inocent pink and blue eyes, which were wide with terror. BoulderDeath shot forward and Parrot looekd away as her teeth impaled the poor dragon.
--------
Cutter darted away from Magnus's angry shouts. The stone in his claws was now burning hot and as bright as Aggro at midnight. He looked back and saw a distant explosion and saw peices of the Mechano Dragon flying everywhere.
Cutter's eyes widened and he dove into the bushes, the stone singing the soft scales near his claws.
-------
Strangely the instant the blue and pinked eyed Lightfury died, the setting changed for Parrot. He saw the lightfury pacing around in a cave, confused.
Parrot was still hovering, he looekd around confused and worried. He made a surprised squaking noise as a blurry familair shape suddenly apperared in front of the Lightfury.
He almost regonized the color of the... things... hair. It looked like a human!
The lightfury spoke some words to the human, and then everything went black...
...
...
...
Parrot woke up, blinking, on a unknown beach, west sand covering his scales. He craned his neck and looked around, utterly confused.
The first thing Parrot's eyes set on was the limp, unconsious body of... Leyla!?!?!
