The mysetrious shaking had stopped and most of the fire had been doused out with sea waters. Leyla, Dak, Summer, Winger, and Burple had safely landed and survived, thankful that it was over now. They were also relived to find Duggard, Hannar, and Elbone still in one piece.
"That was the stragest thing I ever did expirience in my life." Duggard said, scratching his head.
"Yea, I'm glad it's over though." Hannar agreed, wandering through the ruins of her blacksmith shop.
Winger shook out his wings, "Hopefully it never happens agian."
"And we actually find out who or what caused this." Summer said, sitting down.
Leyla slid off her dragon's back, "It's not over, we still need to find Aggro and Cutter. And we should also make sure Magnus and Axel are ok too."
"Oh no! What if all of them are in trouble!" Burple fretted, abandoning the rock he was about to eat.
"Then will help them!" Dak said, jumping onto Winger's back as quickly as he had gotten off. Leyla nodded and got back onto Summer, who stood up and took to the air. Burple flitted up into the sky after them, Duggard, Hannar, and Elbone wishing them luck.
------------------------------------------------------
The water wasn't too bad. It wasn't cold or hot, just a lukewarm temperature. Although it didnt matter if you were drowning.
The hole in the water, dark and ominous, starting sucking Cutter and Aggro down the moment they fell in. The shaking had stopped but the mysterious force pulling them in had not. Like a current that flowed from all directions right into the gigantic hole.
Cutter was clearing his head of the shaking, the water was still around him but the land no longer tipped and tilted. He could feel his body being pulled down.
Regaining a sense of were up was, Cutter pushed agianst the current using his strong wings. He took in a deep breath once he reached the surface, sputtring as the water continued to tug on his claws. He shook his head of water, his spikes glinting in the cheerful sunlight.
Luckily he had had become a good swimmer in all those time in the hot pools on that island (which Cutter and Aggro of course were forbidden to go to ever agian).
As Cutter pulled out the water, still dripping wet and a little irritated he noticed something. He swung his head around, "Aggro?" He called. Where was the fire fury that had been next to him moments before.
"Aggro? Hello?" He tried agian, trying to spot her ruby-red scales in the sky or in the water. There was no response, so he looked around more.
Using his super vision, he spotted a spot of scarlet beneath the watery surface. It looked like she was coming up, or trying to. Her smaller orange wings kept flashing, but she seemed to be getting sucked down anyway.
Without thinking twice, he usally didnt, Cutter dove stright back into the sea. He squinted through the water, trying to make out where Aggro was.
His eyes reached her and he swam over as quick as possible, letting the currents pull him faster than his wings or claws could. He grabbed her, as the darkness of the hole came closer and closer.
Cutter's wings started to go overdrive, flapping and flapping through the water. The light at the surface was getting dimmer though, and the hole was coming closer. It was getting darker and his wings were getting tired fast
Suddenly there was burst of force from below. A stream of bubbles rushed up by Aggro and Cutter pulling them in the exact opposite direction, to the surface. The two dragons, gray-brown and red, burst out of the water, wings flapping frantically.
Thousands of bubbles popped at the surfaces, making a loud popping sound from the surface of the water.
"What in the..." Aggro coughed, trying to get the water out of her ears with her claws. Her vision was blurry, she was only aware of the sound of bubbles and wingbeats close by.
She shook her head and saw Cutter hovering beside her, shaking droplets off of his spikes. She remebered feeling sharp claws on her shoulders.
"Did you save me?" She asked once she had coughed up all the salty sea water.
Cutter looked at her and put on his trademark grin, "Of course I did. Well, I tried."
Aggro smiled, "Then who or what really did?"
"No idea, but I do derserve most of the credit." He said.
Before Aggro could respond she saw something. Something flashing snow white and blood red from deep down below in the hole. But when she looked directly, it was already gone.
