Get ready for a unusual light-hearted Chapter. It will be more in the style of the actual Rescue Riders episodes.

Excitement buzzed in the air and all around, it filled Winger's body and spread all the way to his wingtips. To put it simply, he was excited.

"Bye Dak, Bye Leyla! I'll miss you!" Burple called from behind Winger.

He turned around to see his rider Dak and Dak's sister Leyla waving to them. It would have been too dangerous to take them to the Dragon Games so they woudl stay there with Parrot, who had refused to go nearly twenty times.

"Come on guys!" Laburn urged from up ahead.

"Let's go have some fun!" Cinda did a small flip in the air.

Winger nodded and raced after them, a small zap could be heard as Cutter flew up beside Winger. His head-spikes were crackling with energy. He looked more dertermined and confident now that he didn't have to hide his hybrid nature anymore.

"I nearly all of yesterday gathering all the lightning I could get." Cutter said, stretching out his wings.

"But you had to stop for that one race with me, huh?" Winger said teasingly.

"What? Of course! I almost beat you, I was really close." Cutter said, puffing out his chest.

Before they knew it, the island in which Laburn and Cinda were leading them too came into view. It looked like a gigantic bowl with spiky edges. Inside the wals of the "bowl" where small cliff in which tons of dragons sat upon, eagerly awaiting the start of the games.

The floor of the bowl was filled with grass and plants, along with a couple patches of sand here in there and outlined with pebbles. The whole island seemed to have been customly made or something.

In the middle was tall rock spire in which five dragons sat atop...

At the highest point was a unusual dark reddish-magenta Flightmare. He had beady black eyes and black specks on the underside of his wings. He also had darker claws and a lighter glow around him.

The second dragon was a purple, white, and blue Deadly Nadder with glassy sky blue eyes. She had a white under-belly with blue spikes and purple scales.

The third dragon was a Deathsong who was mainly orange with many different colors such as yellow and purple. He had suprisingly kind amber eyes and a neutral expression.

The fourth dragon was a very very dark red Changewing. His eyes were not kind, his mouth twitsed into a frown and his tail lashed from side to side. He looked like he didnt exactly want to be here.

The last dragon was  a strikingly bueatiful soft white... Lightfury? She had gleaming pink eyes and a confident expression. She also seemed to have a large bitemark in her right wing and left tail fin. She also had one on her left ear nub.

Winger found himself staring at her, wondering what kind of pretty Lightfury she was.

"Over here." Cinda said, flying down to a large open spot on one of the back rows.

Everyone landed and gaze out towards the five dragons, who were surveying the crowd as if checking if enough dragons were here yet. When Winger and everyone else came in they seemed to think everyone who wanted to be here was here.

"Welcome dragons!" The Flightmare spoke in a booming voice, he lifted his head and gazed at all the dragosn slowly.

"It seems alot of you are pumped for the first annual Dragon Games, yes?" He continued.
