Home Again

(Y/n) POV
"Baby...please. I can't lose you. Even if you don't want to be with me anymore, you need to be alive. I love you. Please wake up." I hear Robbie talk to me and I feel him hold my hand in his, drops of water falling onto my arm. He's crying. Man, I really messed up. I need to be with him.

I muster up as much energy as I possibly can to open my eyes. The sight I see breaks my heart. Cat, Beck, Jade, Tori, and Andre are in the hallway, in pairs, holding each other in tight hugs as they cry. And Robbie, holding my hand, crying into my shoulder.

I bring my hand to the back of his head and run my fingers through his hair. He brings his head up and his eyes go wide.

"Still got that ring?" I ask, a slight smirk on my face. "Absolutely." He breathes as he quickly brings his lips to mine. I hear scampering and I pull away from Robbie to see our friends, standing there with giant smiles on their faces. I give them a weak smile.

"(Y/n), you scared the hell out of us." Jade says, angry, but still walks over to me and kisses the top of my head. "I'm sorry guys. I'm so sorry. I just-" I pause and take a deep breath. "I was scared. I still am. But...I saw my parents."

"You...what?" Tori says, raising her eyebrows. "My parents. I guess I was...dead. They talked some sense into me. I came back."

Everyone stares at me, mouths hanging open. "Hello?" I say, a small smile creeping onto my face. "That's...wow." Andre says. "Coooool!" Cat says, making everyone laugh. I miss that little red headed ball of fun.

I look back at Robbie, who hasn't taken his eyes off of me. "We'll give you two some time." Beck says. They all file out of the room after showering me with light hugs.

Once the door is closed and it's just me and Robbie, he speaks. "(Y/n), why couldn't you just talk to me. Why did you have to break up with me and then try to...we could have figured this out together."

"I know. I'm sorry. I just know that this is far from over. Jim is out there. I didn't want you getting hurt. I guess I just thought that if I'm gone, you wouldn't be in danger anymore." Robbie shakes his head. "Baby, I know you're scared. But we need to do this together. I need you to promise me. No more running or making crazy decisions like this. Okay?"

I sigh and nod my head. I can see that I hurt Robbie in a much worse way than Jim would have. "So about that ring." I smirk and Robbie's eyes light up. He unzips his coat pocket and pulls out the ring. "Will you marry me?" He asks, making me laugh that he's asking again.

"Oh give me that." I take it and slide it back onto my finger where it belongs. I hear Robbie giggle and I place my hands on the back of his neck, bringing his forehead to rest on mine. "Of course I'll marry you. I love you." I whisper. "I love you too." His lips meet mine and it's like I'm home again. Wherever Robbie is, is where I need to be.
