(Y/n) POV
"How's Robbie doing?" I ask Jade, as she smooths my dress out. "He is doing great. I've never seen that dude any happier than he is right now." I smile at her words, knowing that my almost husband is just as excited as I am. "What about you, are you nervous?" Jade asks, straightening up to fix the clip in my hair. "I'm...kinda nervous. I don't really know why though. I just have this weird feeling in my stomach. But other than that, I'm so excited. I can't wait to marry Robbie." Jade walks to the other side of the room to pour me a glass of water. "You just have some butterflies. It's okay. Weddings are a normal thing to be a little nervous about. But after today, you and Robbie are gonna spend the rest of your lives together." I take the glass from my maid of honor and a grin comes across my face. "It's amazing. After everything we've been through...here we are. We made it!" "Told you that you could." Jade says, with a slight smirk."Knock knock." Tori sings as her and Cat enter the dressing room. "We brought your other shoes!" Cat squeals, holding up the pair of white heels. I had sent Tori and Cat, my bridesmaids, to grab my other pair of shoes. I brought the pair that I was certain I wanted, but turns out...I wanted the other pair. I reach out and take the shoes from Cat. "Thank you so much. Sorry I'm being a Bridezilla." Jade laughs from the other side of the room. "It's your wedding day. No one blames you for wanting it perfect." "Yeah," Tori adds. "its no problem at all. Whatever you want, you'll have." "You guys are the best." I say. "We know." Jade smirks.
1 hour later
"Where the hell is Sikowitz?" I yell, frantically. "I'm here! I'm here!" Sikowitz's comes running down the hall, towards my dressing room with a coconut in his hand. "Sikowitz's, you are NOT walking me down the aisle with that coconut in your hand!" Jade snatches it out of his hand and sets in on the table. "But-" "NO!" Jade cuts him off. "Now is no time for your visions!""Ceremony starts in 10. We gotta get downstairs." Tori says, pulling Sikowitz's out of the room and picking up my bouquet of flowers. "Do you have my vows and the ring?" I say to Jade as I apply a little lip gloss. "Yep right here, and Tori has the bouquet." "Perfect."
Once we all get downstairs, we stand behind a set of doors. Doors that Robbie is on the other side of. Tori hands me the bouquet and before I knew it, the wedding march started playing. Jade, Tori, Cat, Sikowitz, and I gave each other one last group hug before starting the ceremony. Jade opened the doors and walked down the aisle first, then Tori, then Cat. Finally, the moment I've been waiting for. Sikowitz takes my arm in his and we start proceeding down the aisle. Robbie is standing up there, with a huge smile on his face. Andre is standing behind him, with Beck and Sinjin close behind. I finally get to him and I stand in front of him and the officiant. I see Robbie's parents sitting in the front row and I wish to God that my parents could be here for this. But I'm sure they're looking down on us.
The officiant then begins. "Friends and family, we are gathered here today, to celebrate the matrimony of Robbie Shapiro and (y/n) (l/n). This is your day and we are very grateful that you have allowed all of us to share it with you. I hope that every person here will help this couple be all that they are intended to be throughout the years. Let us begin. Who gives this woman to be married to this man?"
Sikowitz speaks up. "Her parents in heaven who loved (y/n)'s relationship with Robbie, and me. Her favorite teacher." He says smiling, and I hear slight chuckles from the crowd behind me. Sikowitz turns to kiss the side of my head and he makes his way to his seat, as I hand my bouquet to Jade and join hands with Robbie in front of the officiant.
"Robbie, do you take (y/n) to be your wedded wife? To live together in the state of matrimony? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor her, and keep her, and only her, as long as you both shall live?" Tears well up in my eyes as Robbie responds. "I do."
"(Y/n), do you take Robbie to be your wedded husband? To live together in the state of matrimony? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor him, and keep him, and only him, as long as you both shall live?" "I do" I respond.
"Please share together the vows that you have written." I turn around, and take the piece of paper from Jade and Robbie does the same with Andre.
I go first, holding my vows in my hands. "Robbie. You are the absolute love of my life. When I met you, freshman year, I had no idea the impact that you were gonna have on me. And when we started dating, the November of sophomore year, it was the best decision I have ever made. Even with everything we've been through together, we still stand here stronger than ever. And that's what I plan to do for the rest of my life. No matter what the challenge may be, I will stand with you and I will fight for you. I promise to love you, even if I may be mad at you. I promise to comfort you when you're down and laugh with you when everything is great. But most of all, I promise to never take you for granted. I will make sure that you know how loved you are, as long as we live." I fold up my paper and wipe away a tear that is threatening to fall, as Robbie smiles at me, looking like he's about to cry as well.
"(Y/n). Before I met you, I never knew what it meant to be in love. I never knew what it felt like to be loved. And even though we were only 15 when we started dating, up until then, I always knew that something was missing. I was never treated very well in school and when you came around, everything changed. You showed me I can be loved. You showed me that this type of love exists. And with everything we've been through recently, I've been shown that time is precious and not one single moment should be taken for granted. (Y/n), for the rest of my life I am going to protect you. I am going to love you. I am going to take care of you. I am going to laugh with you and cry with you. I am going to fall asleep every night with you next to me and wake up every morning with you next to me. Nothing can get better than that. Than you and me. Forever. Also, I think you're swell." I laugh, along with our friends at his reference to the song he wrote me, junior year.
By now, I can hardly hold the tears back, but I have to because I cannot ruin my makeup. As I hand my paper back to Jade, I see that her eyes are all teary as well. Ha, I bet she's internally yelling at herself for that.
The officiant then continues. "Robbie, will you now present the ring as a symbol of your love, honor, and loyalty?" Robbie takes the ring from Andre and faces me once again. "Robbie, place the ring on (y/n)'s finger and say 'With this ring, I thee wed.'"
Robbie takes my hand in his and slides the ring on. "With this ring, I thee wed."
"(Y/n), will you now present the ring as a symbol of your love, honor and loyalty?" Jade, Tori, and Cat all give me excited smiles as I turn around to take the ring. "(Y/n), place the ring on Robbie's finger and say 'With this ring, I thee wed.'"
I slide the ring on Robbie's finger, saying "With this ring, I thee wed." We then tightly hold each other's hands. We're almost there. I'm almost Robbie's wife.
"Your journey is just now beginning. Let you grow from and cherish your moments together. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The crowd erupts in cheers as Robbie and I share our first kiss as a married couple. Jade then hands me the bouquet back and Robbie takes my arms in his, facing the crowd.
"And now, let me be the first to introduce to you, Mr. and Mrs. Robbie Shapiro!" I walk back down the aisle with my new husband and our friends close behind. The crowd continues cheering and I know that this is the best day of my life. It can only get better from here.
