This originally had a yellow background. The dog's name was Princie. He was a good boy. The cat's now very fat. Her name's Ursula. She thinks she's the queen of the house.
I thought the purple background was a bit too dark on my phone, so I went back and added a couple of overlays on Pixlr X and redid the text with Pixlr E... I might've made it worse. 😅 You can't see it with the screen brightness all the way down. It looks fine on my laptop!
Okay, I finally ripped off my shirt and dropped to my knees like the prophet Job and yelled, "I can't take it anymore!" And just started throwing things at it trying to make it not suck.
Lightening the background?
Glitter?
A mosaic?
A mosaic and a gradient?
And I then proceeded to spam my best friend, kinggg_princesss, with them at 03:00 in the morning while she was trying to sleep so she'd be rested at work in the morning and asked her if she would click on any of my monstrosities because I'm a POS.
NGL, the last one's my favorite. But you can't see Princie's face.
*head-desk*After speaking with my grandma, there are a few more options. Purple tint.
Glitter & gradient below Polaroids. (This is the one my best friend recommended and the current cover of this book.)
Glitter & gradient below smaller Polaroids.
Did anyone notice I put the Polaroid shadows on the wrong side? I didn't until the very last one.
The polaroid template's one I found on Pinterest. The link led to Textures4Photoshop: <https://textures4photoshop.com/tex/isolated-objects/polaroid-frame-png-for-photoshop.aspx> Overlays from Pixlr X. Gradient from Pixlr E.
