Okay, I actually really like this one? If you can't tell by the font, this is for my unpublished Star Trek: AOS fanfiction, So Others May Live. It's made to semi-match this cover:
So, I colored the background dark purple & used that really light space overlay on Pixlr X — you have to go to align and stretch it back into a normal shape — and changed it — I think to soft-light? I don't have my laptop open. Then I threw on that glittery dust overlay — mind you, it's under "dust" not "glitter" or something that would make sense — that I'm always using and turned the transparency down a tad.
And then I switched from Pixlr X to Pixlr E and added the text. At first, I was going to do white text, outlined and set to overlay, but then I wanted to see what it would look like if I beveled it. I already had the space between the letters how I wanted it, and I was too lazy to go back to check what number it was set on, so I just made them both visible and stretched the text I was going to bevel out. I was like, "Hey, that might look cool!" And went ahead and reasterized and beveled the top one and just left them one on top of the other.
Then I went back and added a layer all turned one color.
Et voilà ! C'est très belle !
Now, watch me stare at it until I hate it.
Overlays from Pixlr X. Font, "Federation Classic," from Dafont. Edited on Pixlr X and Pixlr E.
