Song - It's Nice To Have a Friend (Taylor Swift)

Taehyung stood in front of Singer's Den's door. He forgot his keys at home. He wondered if he should risk calling Yoongi and get ticked off again or call Ken and be forced to work late into the night.

He then heard someone clear their throat and turned back to look at the face that had been causing him to lose sleep.

"Keys?", Jin said.

"Keys.", Taehyung replied.

He let the boy unlock the door and took a chance to stare at him. He noticed that his purple hair was fading at the roots and god, somehow that made his hair prettier. Was there any point when Seokjin could manage to look bad?

He silently followed him into the room. The awkwardness was suffocating him.

All of his past relationships have ended abruptly or just faded but he never had to run into them later. Even if he did, it didn't matter. It wouldn't faze him.

But then, they weren't smart, funny and outrageously talented.

They weren't amazing chefs and skiers.

They weren't a child and a mature boyfriend at the same time.

They weren't this beautiful.

They weren't Kim Seokjin, whose lips currently glistened a bright red against his pale skin.

And, Taehyung gulped.

Jin sat stiff at his desk, completely aware of the other's stares.

It was like every little thing they were doing was being magnified.

"W- What is the meeting about?", Taehyung asked breaking the awkward silence.

Jin blinked but did not look at him. "Yoongi will tell."

"Why can't you – ", Taehyung began when Yoongi walked in.

He spared a glance at the two singers before he put down a bundle of papers on desk. "No practice today. Jungkook has a curfew. So, we've to meet earlier than planned."

"What about Irene?", Jin asked and he didn't miss Taehyung's immediate shift of gaze.

Yoongi replied as he texted away, "Irene called in sick today. Coincidentally, Ken also did. So, we are fine."

"Off we go then.", he smiled.

...

"Your room's pretty cute.", Rose commented as she sat next to Jin's bed. Jungkook and Jimin already made themselves comfortable at the foot of the bed while Namjoon sat on the chair across it.

Yoongi slumped himself next to Jimin. "Nothing should leave this room. You can't text and discuss this shit. Also, if you are scared of breaking rules – we are about a break a lot – back off."

Jin was the only one sitting on his bed. He warily watched Taehyung, who was awkwardly standing next to Namjoon.

Rose shrugged, "I don't care. I'm rich."

The others laughed at this. Not untrue, but funny.

"Taehyung?", Yoongi asked.

"What?", he replied like he just snapped out of a dream.

"Are you even listening?", Jimin asked him and he nodded in response.

But he wasn't. The whole room was bringing back a million memories. The first time he kissed Jin, the first time they made out, the numerous times he stood at the balcony waiting for Jin to open it, all the times he fell in love with the same boy again and again.
