-Harry's P.O.V.-
I waited for her to exit her classroom, where was she? As soon as the main flow of students had left the room, I walked through the door and I still didn't see her. Mr. Mahon was on the phone at his desk, and panic started to fill me. I walked to his desk and listened to his conversation, desperate for his attention.
"No, she didn't come back... I don't know where she is, she said she was going to the bathroom." I attempted to get his attention, but he waved me away. If only he knew how important this really was. She was supposed to be in the bathroom... hopefully she was. I turned and headed for the door, but I was stopped by a hand on my shoulder. A hand that I've begun to know all too well.
"Harry look... I'm really sor-" I shrugged PJ perfectly manicured hand off of me.
"No PJ. As far as I'm concerned, we're through. Done." I stormed out of the classroom and down the hall, walking towards the closets girls' room.
"I hope she's dead!" I heard PJ scream from down the hallway. I stopped and turned around, tears threatening to spill over. "Yeah! I told her what she was, worthless! You would never love her in a million years! YOU LOVE ME." Tears running down her face, she ran off the other direction, and I ran off towards the exit.
I pushed myself through the doors and ran to my car, jumping in it and starting it quickly. I tore out of the parking lot and to the stoplight. Stuck on red I pulled out my phone and frantically dialed Katt's number, pressing the phone to my ear shakily. "Pick up... please, please pick up."
After several rings it went to her voicemail. I hung up and threw the phone down on the empty passenger seat, just as the light turned green. I slammed on the gas and took the sharp right turn, and continued down the street. Then the realization hit me. She could be dead.
My eyes tearing up, I sped to her house and grabbed my phone, who knows what I would find? I pulled into her drive and stumbled out of the car, up to her front door. I kicked the door open, "KATT?!" I ran through the living room, towards the kitchen, as I heard something hit the floor. I took one glance to my right, and there she was, hanging from the ceiling.
As tears began pouring from my eyes, I quickly dialed the emergency services. I ran up to her, watching the girl I love leave her body, as I tried hopelessly to free her. I did as I was told, holding her up, trying to keep as much weight off of her neck. I struggled, but the mix of panic and adrenaline in my body kept me strong.
The ambulance arrived quickly, and they called her sister and informed her of the incident. I was shaking as one of the medics handed me her pink notebook, but I didn't want to see what was written in it. I just slowly crawled outside, into the ambulance next to Katt. I leaned over her as my tears began to drip on her shirt.
I looked up at one of her caretakers and asked what had been on my mind since the beginning. "Is she alive?"
"Barely, we need to get her to the IC unit quickly." More tears began spilling from my eyes, and I tried furiously to blink them away. I had to be strong. For her.
The ambulance doors shut behind me and the vehicle's sirens begin blaring. I grabbed Katt's hand gently and kissed her, knowing it will probably be my last chance. "I love you, princess. Forever and always."
