''Long day Mikey?'' I asked as the red haired boy sat - or should I say collapsed - on my couch, sighing loudly after he let himself in, like always.

''I'm exhausted,'' he corrected, closing his eyes. ''I hate women,'' he added.

I chuckled. ''What made you change your mind on that?''

''I've been with your mother all day, going from store to store to find decorations for her wedding. She talked about ribbons, flowers and tablecloths too much for my own liking. I feel like my head's gonna explode if I hear someone ramble about which color of flowers they should get to match with these hideous tablecloths.''

''Must've been amazing to have bonding time with your step-mother,'' I said in an amused tone.

He glared. ''You're mother is so damn picky and complicated. She's insane.''

''Really?'' I mocked with an eye roll.

''Mikey!'' cheered Ashton's voice, running toward the said lad and giving him a hug.

''Hey Ash,'' he greeted him, hugging the smaller boy back. ''Having a good day?'' he asked, ruffling his messy curls, making him giggle.

Ashton nodded. ''Lukey and I made cupcakes,'' he told his new friend, completely forgetting about the pastries baking in the oven. The robot boy had been amazed when seeing the dough raising in the oven and sat in front of it, watching them attentively.

''Cupcakes? Can I have one?  I'm so hungry,'' he added, patting his stomach.

''They are not ready to be eaten yet. They are doing magic things in the o-oven.''

He raised an eyebrow. ''Magic things?''

Nodding eagerly, Ashton took Michael's hand and pulled him in the kitchen, showing his  this 'magic thing'.

As Michael was in the kitchen with Ashton, I went to my laboratory, preparing my stuff for Ashton. I need to check how his brain is doing and if everything is going alright in his body. From the outside's perspective, everything seems fine but the only way to find out is by looking inside. Before you ask or freak out, no, I'm not gonna cut him open. I'll just connect him to a few cable attached to my computer. Nothing barbarian I swear. I would never hurt the poor thing.

''Why can't I eat them now?'' asked the robot-boy as I led him to my laboratory, away from the burning hot cupcakes.

''Firstly, they're really hot and you could burn yourself. Don't want a boo-boo, right?'' He put a hand over his marvel band-aid that's still on his forehead, thinking about his previous hurt spot and shook his head. ''And secondly, I need to run a few tests on you, lovely.''

His face was now showing confusion and his eyebrow furrowed as he sat on the edge of the long stainless table where he was born. ''Why, Lukey?''

''Because I need to know if you are.. healthy. You're not human, Ashton, remember? I created you and I need to see if everything is alright in your little self.'' I poked his stomach, making his giggle.

''But I am alright. You don't need to do tests,'' he told me, sliding off the table. I stopped him, lifting him back up on the table.

''Ashton,'' I said in a serious tone. ''I promise I'll be quick, okay? Just take your clothes off and lay down, I'll go get my material to plug you in.''

''Eh.. Help?'' I chuckled, seeing him stuck with his grey sweatshirt around his neck, struggling to take it off. I helped him take it off along with his pants, remembering how he always has trouble with these. He went to remove his boxers but I stopped him.
