Hanji's POV

My heart pounded when they finally led me to his cell. To calm myself, I began to caress my baby bump. The door opened up, and I could see the figure of Levi on his bed. "Ackerman, you got a visitor." The guard said to him.

I walked inside, a bit nervous to finally see him after 3 months. "Levi...?" He began to stiffen up when I called his name. "Levi, it's me, Hanji..." Inch by inch, I made it to his bed. My hands reached for his shoulder, and I could see those bandages. Those dried blood on his arms. I gasped a bit, seeing how much pain he went through when I wasn't there for him. "Levi..."

He turned towards me, and I began to see his gray, silver eyes. "Hanji... no... this can't be real... they told me they wouldn't... wouldn't let me see you..."

Chuckling softly, I perched myself more on his bed. Instantly, he kissed me passionately and laid his head on my breasts. His hands rested on my thighs, almost like he was trying to absorb the fact that I was actually here. From time to time, he would reach his hand to the baby bump and feeling it. He didn't put any pressure on it at all.

"Now, Ms. Zoe. The information." The agent demanded with his scientist friend by his side.

I looked down to Levi, smiling gently. "Levi, I have to tell them about you, okay? That way we can get you out of here. Understand me, Levi?"

"Mhm..."

I turned to the agent and the scientist, confessing about what was wrong with him. "It's a family genetic mutation in the gene. That specific gene makes them human. In the Ackerman family, it's inactive. It's only activated when they lay their eyes on a person that they fall in love with. Once attached, they would do anything to keep them nearby. Ever since I found out about it, I wanted to find a cure for it... because I'm pregnant with his kid. I don't want my child to be like them."

"So... who got in his way?" The agent calls out.

"Gunther was gonna take her away from me." Levi says ominously. The whole cell turned silent after he confessed that murder. "If you had done your research, you should've known that he stole items from girls he was attracted to... give it back to them... and ask for their bodies as a reward. He would continuously use them until he tosses them like trash. There's over 5 women who would testify that."

The agent stayed silent, coughing nervously as he heard such news. "And Erwin Smith?"

Levi gropes me, ensuring I was there. I simply chuckled and let him do whatever. He was back in my arms, safe where he should be. "He was gonna do bad things to her. She was in the car and he attacked her. I had to do something. He was well-known to do bad things. Even got some certain charges off because he's a legacy kid."

"Legacy kid?"

"Legacy kid." Levi repeated. "Everyone who was a legacy kid got away with everything. They are the special kids. I'm only a legacy kid because my family used to support the school. Though... I can't get away with everything. Popular legacy kids do. That's how the stolen goods guy got away. How the hand-on man remained at school after so many accusations."

"Shh..." I say gently, "Levi... you don't need to do things like that... you hear? Look at yourself... you're hurt. Having you been... hurting yourself...?"

To my fear, he nodded his head. "I couldn't see you. It was like they killed you... taken from me. I-I can't allow that-"

"No. Levi, don't kill. No hurting." I looked up to the agent and doctor, readying myself to plead with them. "Once a cure is found, I want him out of here. He doesn't belong here. Yes, he may have killed people because of me... but he's incapable of being a human without me. Once he does get a cure... he'll be human. He would regret all of these murders! Just please..."

The doctor walked forward a bit, "Hanji... I would allow it once we compare our recorded data. Perhaps if we work together, we can find the cure faster than at the speed you are going. Locks, please. She's right about him not being human, according to her."

"I don't like this... he's a murderer and those victims deserve peace."

"How would you feel if someone you knew messed with everyone near you? No one would punish them because they're entitled. I get what you want, Locks, but... if this is true... this is an emotionless boy who can have a second chance. He'll serve his time by different means. Listen, Ackerman is gonna keep hurting himself until there's either a cure or he has Hanji. Lose him or keep him. That's the choice you're facing now."

The agent sighed, looking to the side. "Fine. I hate this. But if he is incapable of feeling remorse to those victims, he's staying here. This will take place after the cure is found."

Levi squeezed his hands on me once more before making a small request. "Can you turn off all the cameras and microphones in here? I want some alone time with her."

The agent rolled his eyes before nodding his head. Both him and the doctor walked out. We lingered for a few moments before Levi sat up and kissed me passionately on the lips. His gray eyes came back to me- full of life. I haven't seen that for 3 months. 3 months since he was sent away from me. As much as it sounded bad... I missed him. After all the things he's done, he always had good intention towards me.

"I've missed you..." His eyes quickly gazes down to my stomach, and he slowly caressed it. Gently rubbing it with his hands. Was he imagining the child inside of me? I hoped so. "Is it causing you too much trouble? I apologize if it is. I didn't mean to give you a baby inside of you."

"It hasn't been a hassle lately... but I know it will in the future."

Leaning down, he kisses my stomach, smiling softly towards it. "As long as you are happy... I'm fine with it all." He straightens up, holding my hand. "Since I have you for now... let's have a bit of fun... shall we?"
