we held onto each other for another couple of minutes as if we were about to lose each other forever, which was technically true, but we both tried to hide that fact like fools, even though we both knew that at some point we would have to let go of one another.
we filled the somehow comfortable silence with sweet nothings by saying some soft words like "you're so beautiful", "my pretty pretty baby", "let's stay like this for just 5 more minutes".
both of our faces were having a huge smile on them, probably hiding the fear behind it. just live for the moment. I tried to comfort myself & let out a big sigh.
"did you plan something for today, ggukie?" I asked in a honey sweet tone, sounding more innocent than I intended to do. I was genuinely curious whether I'd have to get ready & dressed up for today or we would just have ourselves a cosy day in bed with a lot of cuddles, having to tell the maids to leave us alone about every 5 minutes.
