I love you, I love you, I love you. [slight angst and fluff]

She was supposed to be asleep, but all she thought about was his past. She tried not to cry, she really did, but the tears started pouring out. Small and soft gasps were heard inside the small room.

Jason woke up from the sound of cries. He was concerned for his lover's sadness. "Love?" he spoke up, his voice soft. He sat up a bit, looking over her body. his heart broke when he saw her crying. The anti-hero felt a burning pain in his chest.

"Love, what happened? Are you okay?" worry and woe laced his voice. "Love?" his voice became softer. "I-I'm fin- fine," she replied, quickly drying the tears from her face. But that didn't stop her from thinking of her. She couldn't stop thinking about how he left her for her. She thought how she was better than her.

"No, no, no, you're not," he got up and walked to her side of the bed. "Love, what happened? Please tell me."

She paused; she didn't want to go through this talk again. But the words spilled out anyways. "Do-do you still think abo‐about her?" she started to tear up again, but she didn't try to hold them back. Tears started to run down her cheeks like waterfalls.

Jason's hand found its way to her cheek, his thumb caressing her soft skin. She relaxed at the touch of his warm hand. Her eyes finally opened and she was greeted with the sight of the love of her life.

The sight of her slowly falling apart broke him. Jason hated it, seeing her cry and hurting because of him. "No, I don't. I don't think about her because I love you," he said. She sat up, hugging her tear-stained pillow to her chest.

He smiled at her, "Please don't cry, I hate seeing you cry." He placed his other hand on her other cheek. He brought his face up to hers and kissed her passionately.

She set the pillow aside before she kissed back. She felt a tear run down her nose bridge, and onto her other cheek.

He broke the kiss, but continued to plant soft and small kisses from her nose, to her cheek, then onto her jawline, before placing one last peck below her ear.

"I love you, I love you, I love you," Jason whispered into her ear. The thoughts of her finally faded away, and she finally relaxed. "I love you so much. Please don't ever forget that."

She wiped away her tears with her sweater's sleeve, before a smile appeared on her face, "I love you, too."
