As Prince Juvall walked through the town, he saw humans for the very first time. Some of the humans stared in fear, curiosity. He was a slighter smaller version of his father who they'd seen on their screens, yet he was the first they saw in person. Made the nightmare real for them.
Some were angry. Tried to confront him but he knocked them away with his giant fists easily or snapped at them. Ate them, he was ravenous. Most ran and hid inside their homes though.
The prince has never seen a type of species like this before and he was curious at first. But after seeing how most of the humans fled, he wasn't interested at all. Clearly, they'd be easy to overpower, and this planet would be nicer without them.
He'd done research so far on the vast terrains of Earth. It had so much potential and he couldn't wait to get rid of the humans and make the most of this planet.
Without worry of an uprising, he commanded his army to control different parts of the city. He walked around in a strong, metal, suit of shining armor. Though he only wore it because it made him proud. He wasn't particularly concerned or impressed by the enemy as he walked through the city, analyzing the people.
"Why hasn't this pathetic planet not been taken over yet?" Juvall asked. He shook his head and continued his evaluation.
Back at the White House, Spark saw the news and jumped out of his seat. He led his team outside. All except for Ace, who was left behind in the bathroom unaware of the situation.
Back in the city, Prince Juvall gobbled on a bloody, meaty, human leg as he watched his army take control over the city. "What an easy planet to conquer," he said to his generals. "This will be done in no time."
He reveled in the chaos, laughing as his army destroyed the nearby buildings. Some of the buildings were blown up, while others got smashed to the ground. Children and their families sobbed as they were rounded up, snapped at by the creatures, and taken to ships or housed in buildings taken over by the reptilians.
Of course, they wouldn't kill them all. They needed families to grow so they'd have a steady supply of food and slaves. The destruction was broadcasted on the news across the world.
As soon as Spark left the White House, he was bombarded by desperate screams. He ran, his team following behind as the spaceship loomed over them.
Spark was determined to save them all, but of course there was too much destruction and despair to stop it at once. So, Spark started with a burning building where he heard the initial screams.
As he was running, a large reptilian stopped him short. Juvall. Their eyes locked for a couple of seconds. Then Juvall's eyes flickered to the light peaking out through the group's clothing. He smiled. This was going to be too easy.
"I can see all of the shards you all possess," he said. "The shards you've stolen from us! I want each and every one of them back, whether I have to rip them right from your skin or not."
"We will stop you," Spark promised. "At all costs."
He sprinted towards Juvall at full speed for a full-frontal attack. Juvall disappeared right before Spark could land a hit on him. Spark looked up to see Juvall and started laughing.
"What a perfect opponent for me to challenge," Spark said, eyes wide with excitement. "Much better than that stupid simulator." He jumped up to Juvall and the battle began.
Ace tore out of the White House, confused and flustered as he looked for everyone. Furious that they left him behind.
He found out about the alien attack when he saw the news broadcast and had searched for his friends frantically before dashing out the door. Stumbling right into chaos.
