"I can't find anything wrong with her Commander!" Dr. Suil protested. Meara was sitting on a bed bored out of her mind. She watched as Grey argued with Suil. She sighed.
"If there's nothing wrong with her, then why can't she remember us?!" Grey shouted at the doctor. Meara got up and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Grey, leave it. If the man says there's nothing wrong with me, then there's nothing wrong with me. Come on, I'm tired. It's been a long day."
Grey turned around to face her.
"I'm sorry Callie, it's just I don't understand and I want you to be okay." Meara squeezed a smile out. She felt bad, she didn't want to see him hurt. As they walked out of sickbay, Meara couldn't help but feel uncomfortable in the silence. She realized Grey was staring at her as they walked towards the Jeffries tubes. She couldn't explain why she felt like this. It was so weird, almost like she had feelings for him too...

"Uh..." Meara stood at the entrance to her quarters. "Do you want to come in?" She asked awkwardly. Grey smiled with relief; most of his stuff was actually in there.
"If that's okay with you. I think I need to grab some clothes." Meara's cheeks turned bright red as it dawned on her. They were engaged, of course, they would be living together, that's what people kinda did you know?
"Oh, right, well duh," Meara walked in and immediately went to the replicator, ordering a large brandy. Taking a slow sip, her eyes caught Grey's. Was he laughing at her? "What?" she asked. She ordered another and put it down in front of him. "Here, drink. It will make you feel better."
He tentatively took a sip of the potent concoction that sat before him. He had never been much of one to drink, but he had to admit, this was helping his nerves.
